LS: now, you have before you the ten acres of land owned by [4130], located in the southeast quarter of section nine, Township six, north and Range twenty east of the Indian Base and Meridian, Latimer County, Oklahoma. You will give the conditions for drilling an oil well or a gas well on this particular section.

EC: Now, we have these conditions here. We find there is oil in much of this section, and oil and gas might be obtained on or under this ten acres, as given, but would be very expensive to operate, considering conditions surrounding this property. The best place for the prospects in this ten acres would be in the northwest part of this plot, just above the ravine that crosses this section. We would give as best that within the week of April 13th; dispose of this with the prospects of the developing that are coming nearer these holdings at that time.
