This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 26th day of June, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4157].

  1. GC: You will give a mental, physical and business reading, with special reference to the work for which this body is best suited and should engage in at this time.

  2. EC: Now, in a mental, spiritual, physical and business relation and condition for this body, we have many things to consider. Many, as we have given before, present themselves at this time.

  3. First, we have these conditions to consider: The temperament, the inclinations, the adaptability of the personality of the individual.

  4. Next would be the physical ability to carry out such portions of those conditions found in the individual.

  5. Third, the ability of application mentally and spiritually.

  6. Now, we find these conditions to consider. First, we find as this:

  7. An individual capable of being exalted within self esteem to such a degree as would become detrimental to any work for others as an individual applicating or applying self.

  8. Next, we have an individual that has not, as yet, settled in its own mind that which is the desire of the life, mentally, morally, spiritually, or socially or financially, and one that is proned, by conditions existent in the fibre, as it were, of the individual’s personality, to ever be undetermined as to the individual’s personal feelings in its ability to carry out the settings of the individual’s desires.

  9. In the physical we find those conditions necessary that the individual, in any desire for the accomplishments in a material world, must consider the physical conditions of the body.

  10. As to the abilities, we have in this entity, this body, [4157] we are speaking of, one that, with the finding, the setting, of self and the awakening of the individual I AM in the self, capable of doing much. Especially is the entity given in the development of those conditions in material world that would have to do with the application of those things and conditions connected with that of the applied arts. That is, those material things that have to do with the application of applied arts in any form, especially those dealing with the designs and designing of such structures as would be in any form having to do either with metal, with ware, especially woodenware, or things of that nature.

  11. Then that which the body should apply itself at the present time is first know that the entity, the soul, the spirit, the physical self is especially gifted in that line, of either applied arts or political endeavors’ designs, and designs whether of political or of applied art decide in self as to which will awaken the greater forces in the I AM of self; then apply self in that manner that brings the developing in the physical or material plane, ever remembering the physical, the abilities in the mental, must rely upon the strength in a physical body.

  12. Then first, find self and make an application of self to existing conditions, as given. We will find success in the mental, the physical, the business world, applied in these lines.

  13. As to individual or as to specific conditions in the body, as applied through these phases, these must be made an individual application to self. These give conditions as existent and the application as received through will gives or makes the developing in this earth plane.
