Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. (?) …, Texas.

1. EC: Now, you see we have a very serious condition throughout this whole body. All portions of the lymphatic circulation are involved. This we see affects the nerves, the muscles and the ligaments of all locomotion in the system. This then, physically, becomes a very serious condition that, however, may be corrected with the proper treatments and by following these out distinctly and minutely. With the seat of the trouble dating back some years, we find the gradual attack to all of the lymphatic circulation until the secretions in the system have become almost nil.

2. Now, these are the conditions: The blood supply of course is very low with the condition existing, yet we find the quality and the incentive of the mind and spiritual forces in the body keep the circulation going, even through the portions of the body so drawn by the non-nutriment from the circulation as to keep the life giving forces in this physical plane.

3. The nerve forces - we have the action of the brain forces themselves, having fallen under the spell of the bacilli that attack the system, first from the locomotory centers, then to the lower portion of the extremities, and [they] have gradually gone over the system affecting the left portions of the body first.

4. With the organs functioning under the stress of the conditions, it has become burdensome and laborious to the whole system. With the reviving of the vital sparks in the system the body may be assisted, yet never wholly in the normal again, this time here, see? Reincarnation?]

5. We would give into the system, this:

Chloride of Gold…15 grains, to Distilled Water…8 ounces, with Bicarbonate of Soda…8 grains.

The dose would be teaspoonful [in a glass of water] twice each day.

6. Massage the body especially along the spine from the cervical down over the whole system but especially the spinal region, with this:

7. To one-half gallon of rain water, add six (6) ounces of Plantain root and leaves. Reduce by simmering to one-half the quantity, then add:

Balm of Gilead…3 drams, Tincture of Myrrh…20 minims.

Reduce this again by heating, you see, to one-half the quantity, then add Oil of Butterfat until a thin paste is made. This massaged into the system, see, every third day.

8. And give the electric vibration from the violet ray to the body for three minutes over the system, see, then [it would] be direct to the hands and lower limbs for one minute each.

9. This [treatment] will, within fifteen to thirty days, bring the condition to where we will again change this direction. Do that at the present time, [4173].

10. (Q) Mr. Cayce, will this young lady ever be able to see? (A) With the assistance of lens, but not until after the second treatment is given. We will get to this. Just be patient and be consistent and persistent, and we will find we will relieve these conditions in this physical body. Take the medicinal properties, morning and evening. Massage taken in the evening. The electric forces given in the evening, see, each evening.

11. (Q) What other advice do you want to give in this case, Mr. Cayce? (A) Just do as we have given. We are through.
