This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of July, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [4181] via Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, while the physical conditions of this body are very good in many respects, there are those physical conditions of which, would the body take warning, the physical manifestations of same would be bettered.

3. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [4181] we are speaking of. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this very good in many respects, yet there is seen the effect of toxic poisons in same, through those conditions existing in the eliminations in the system, and the effect is to produce sluggishness, especially when the body has labored, either physically or mentally, and comes rather as the warning of a taxation to the nervous system. At times there is seen that will forces are necessary to prevent undue irritation at such times to the MENTAL forces of the body.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this shows the effect of this condition, and especially is this seen in the 9th and 10th dorsal vertebra, where the central portion of system to the digestive system and to the solar plexus of the body. These show the irritation in the digestive system and the lack of perfect eliminations below the digestion of the stomach, and then is of the intestinal trouble, rather than that in the stomach proper.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, the brain forces very good. Extraordinary in discerning and discrimination, and is often called as one with an unusual vision into many varied conditions pertaining to the mysterious conditions in life, and especially, as is seen, there are occasions when, to others, the information as is innate with the individual is uncanny. This a natural development, through the influences in the life in this plane and in others.

7. In the organs of the sensory system, these are acute in their discernment, rather by intuitive forces of the mental capacity of the entity, yet show strain from the condition existent in the blood supply occasionally.

8. Lungs, throat, bronchials, larynx, very good, though rather a raspy condition as is seen in throat and bronchials in the last day or two - congestion from heat, and from a taxation.

9. Heart’s action near normal at present.

10. The digestive system in the stomach proper, and the organs of the upper digestion, these are very good, though there has been of late too much acidity in the stomach proper, from an overtaxing of the digestion by over-loading the system with that not just suited for the body. This is being bettered. The GENERAL digestion is very good, until reached in the intestinal tract just above where enters the colon. At times some inconvenience is felt in this portion of the body. This, as we see, is from those impacts that show in the ascending colon, and were the body to keep better OUTDOOR exercise, more turns and twists for this portion of the body, in a systematic exercise that uses the muscular portions of this portion of the body, these would be very much bettered.

11. To correct the condition in the present, we would find that two to three of a deep manipulation, osteopathically given, strengthening those conditions as exist in the solar plexus and lower dorsal, would set the conditions nearer aright. By keeping those exercises for the body, mentally and physically, that will keep the system cleansed - colon, see? we will reduce these conditions, as will be found also that the manipulation, as would be given osteopathically in correcting this condition, will follow out the lines of these to the locomotories, and especially to the lower portion of the body, and relieve this pressure in feet that appear from long standing, or extra walking, see?

12. Then, do that, and we will bring the better normal conditions for this body, [4181].

13. We are through for the present.
