Date: 12/28/1937 Sex: M Age: 29 ReadingID: 3163

This psychic reading was given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Virginia on December 28, 1937, at the request of Mr. [1005] by wire for Mr. [419].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Hugh Lynn Cayce and Edgar Evans Cayce. (Hugh Lynn Cayce acting as steno. - GD in Ala. for Xmas.)]

Time of Reading 10:43 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ky.

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [419]. This we have had before.

  2. As we find while the present conditions are acute, these are not necessarily serious. While there is indication of some disturbance and an inclination toward inflammatory conditions in the caecum area, these arise not so much from inflammation as from the hindrances to the lymph circulation in the area hindered by strains in the coccyx and the ileum plexus, and the rotary center or the 4th lumbar axis. Then first have the corrections made there in the areas indicated. Then apply more of the Laudanum and Aconite, three parts Laudanum to one part Aconite over the caecum and abdominal area.

  3. Apply alternately Castor Oil packs, three or four thicknesses and those saturated solutions Epsom Salts. Painting the area between the applications. Only a liquid diet. Watch the temperature. Should this arise it will be necessary [to operate?], or indicate greater inflammation and necessitate immediate attention.

  4. Take small doses of Olive Oil and Castoria. One taken one time the other the next. One-half to one-fourth teaspoonful until there is the thorough evacuation of colon. If cramp is produced, use enema.

  5. Olive Oil and Castoria should be taken about 30 minutes apart.

  6. For, as has been indicated, this is not caused by inflammation of appendix - though such, from the subluxation and pressures, may be caused by indiscreet activity or diet.
