This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 21st day of October, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4198].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will also give the cause of the existing conditions, with the treatment for the cure and relief of same.

2. EC: Now we find there are abnormal conditions with this body. We find there are conditions that are normal to the body that to other bodies would be abnormal, and these may not be corrected. The conditions in the physical may be assisted, and with the correct vibrations accorded in the physical, and the spiritual awakened to the possibilities of the physical being in accord with the spiritual, the physical may develop the better conditions than are accorded in physical at the present time.

3. The conditions we find have to do with outside influences in times back that have brought about conditions in the body, especially in the right arm and hand, conditions that are distressing to all portions of the body through the character of the blood supply as created in conditions existing in this portion as was created by conditions being accorded that were of the detrimental nature, and giving the condition in the blood supply wherein conditions are adverse to normal forces.

4. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4198], we are speaking of.

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY IN BODY, this we find is in that condition where the impurities from conditions in arm, hand, in right side, bring to the body those properties to be eliminated that give an exaggerated condition to all portions of the excretory systems, and there is a lack of the vitamin and vitality in the blood, especially in the hemoglobin, to supply rebuilding material in the cellular forces of same at all times.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find is in that state where the mental often is forced to control the nerve system. This is rather that state of a mental nerve shock through the system than of a physical condition existing in nerve plexus or center.

7. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, in the sensory system there are those reflexes from the condition, and this is shown especially in those treatments accorded the condition as exists in forearm. In this we find these are very good. Often necessary that much of this be accorded for the whole sensory system.

8. In the functioning of the organs throughout the body, all under the stress and strain of condition in the broken tissue, and the exhumed secretions give distress in the body.

9. To give then the best condition for the body would be, with much as is being accorded kept for the body, add this:

10. At least once every three weeks apply Rino’s rays, the ultra-violet rays, to the affected portions.

11. Also make cultures of the blood in the left arm and inject same in the shoulder near the fifth cervical; however, to the right, in shoulder and muscles there. That is, the cultures are prepared from the blood of the body itself and injecting after being prepared back in the body in these portions. Take from left arm, inject in right shoulder.

12. Do that, keeping the excretory system functioning as near the normal as possible in the body.

13. This will bring the better condition for the body, [4198].

14. At least three to five cultures should be made. Then rested for a time and the developments with these treatments would necessitate changes as arise in the system.

15. Do that at present.

R1. 10/28/24 [900]‘s letter: ”…I don’t know what to make of [4198]. He seems to doubt your reading and guess he will not follow cure you gave him. Instead he probably will go on drinking, etc., in spite of the doctors’ warning that another stroke will kill him. No doubt he expected you would tell him to rub his tail bone on the bark of an oak tree and he then would be mysteriously cured. Well, it’s up to him - his own life - and will be his own tough luck…”

B1. 10/19/24 [900]‘s letter: ”…Mr. [4198] is a very sick man… He will sign as best he may with his left hand. He cannot write himself or he would, but will sign a note I shall write for him…”

B2. 10/20/24 [900]‘s letter: ”…Mr. [4198] is a man nearly my own age, and because I promised him I would make no mention of his many and severe illnesses, I will tell you nothing about it. Suffice to say that if you provide a successful cure for him it will be nothing short of a miracle, and I am sure he would be of invaluable assistance to us in the work we desire to carry on, for he is both extremely wealthy and influential…”
