This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 2nd day of April, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4206].

1. LS: You will answer the following questions: Were the medicinal properties which were taken by this body prepared correctly? Should the osteopathic and violet ray treatments be continued?

2. EC: Now, we find there are a great many changes in this body at the present time from that as we had before. All of these have been for and toward the improvement of the physical condition of the body. There are some abnormal conditions in the system still. These needs be corrected much in the same manner and form as has been outlined for this body.

3. We would make some changes, however, for the medicinal properties for the system, and we would give the more thorough treatments of the massage for the body that will give the distribution of the forces in the body, and that of elimination through the trunk portion of system, that the body with the taxing of the physical may be relieved from the pressure as is produced with the present conditions on the hypogastric and the secondary cardiac plexus centers. These so massage, so manipulate those centers and that tissue and ligaments from and to these portions of the body, as to relieve the strain; taking also those vibrations over the body of the violet ray to renew the vitim (?) in the lymphatic and nerve centers.

4. Those properties we would take at present would be prepared in this manner and form.

5. Take: 6 ounces, preferably, of the green ragweed, and with 10 ounces of distilled water after the green ragweed has been cleansed in water, and reduce by simmering (not boiling) to 6 ounces, adding, after this has reduced and before removing from the heat, 2 ounces of cane sugar, first dissolved in 1 ounce of very hot water. Also, when the sugar or syrup is added, add the Tincture of Sanguinaria, 1 dram. Reduce until the whole quantity then is 6 ounces, and strain, adding 2 ounces of grain alcohol, with 1/2 dram Balsam of Tolu cut in it. The dose of this would be teaspoonful twice each day, after the first meal and before retiring.

6. Keep up the massage. Be persistent and consistent with the diet, and with the vibrations accorded the body, not overtaxing body mentally or physically. We will find we will bring the correct and the normal vibrations to this body, [4206], present in this room.
