This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of February, 1937, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [482].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 10:45 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Tenn. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [421]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, while conditions are disturbing in those directions that have been indicated heretofore, there are no open places in the lung - but a congestion that tends to make it easy for the body to become superacid. And from same the poor eliminations are caused.

  3. In the present we find the better manner would be to prepare about half a gallon of Apple Brandy in a charred keg. Keep this where there may be the evaporation, but keep keg closed - and with a tube so that the fumes from same may be inhaled into the lungs. Do this morning and evening. [GD’s note: See previous rdgs. having to do with warding off tuberculosis.]

  4. And be mindful of the diet, that there are the more alkalines.

  5. Keep the eliminations by the use of enemas rather than cathartics.

  6. Occasionally, two to three times a week, take a teaspoonful of the enzymes that carry iron in same; that is, Ventriculin with Iron.

  7. These as we find would make for the better conditions for this body in the present.

  8. Keep the feet dry. Keep out of the night air too much, taking proper precautions - and these should be kept encased and the body improve in health and in resistance.

  9. Ready for questions.

  10. (Q) Why the tired feeling in the right side? (A) As indicated, from the poor circulation and this heaviness in the lower right lung.

  11. We are through with this reading.
