GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, paying particular attention to the cause of the drawings of the tongue and the dizziness that comes which this condition, giving suggestions for the relief and improvement of this body.
-
EC: Now, there are many physical changes in the body since last we had this here. Those conditions as produce that as causes the drawing in throat, tongue, and dizziness as is produced from same, is from the conditions much of that of which the body has been warned, in the use of tobacco. The condition specific is that as will be found in the 2nd and 3rd and 4th cervical. The engorgements as are produced here by the overtaxing of the body, produce this over activity of the nerves and muscles as govern the functioning of this portion of body, tongue specific. In this contraction, the nerves as give direct functioning to the organ of digestion, the esophagus, the larynx and this portion of system, become affected, and the deflected nerve and blood supply as go to head and face become affected in same, this producing dizziness, with afterwards a tendency towards sick at the stomach, or swallowing, or of nausea at pit of stomach, see?
-
Then, to overcome this condition, keep away from so much of the use of this, and have these corrections made chiropractically, or osteopathically, provided the chiropractic adjustments are used and the massage as is necessary to equalize the circulation and nerve supply through the tissue of that portion of body, from the 4th and 5th dorsal to the base of the head, see?
-
Be well were small quantities (two to three grains at a time, or Milk of Magnesia) of the plain Magnesia, you see, be taken, in system. Charcoal occasionally, to produce the better condition in stomach, as these are worked off through the manipulation. We would do that for this body at the present.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Herewith my check for $10.00 for the reading gotten on me March 8th. I had started with osteopath doctor on the same morning; he checks with your reading. I have had five adjustments, and so far have not had a repetition of the tongue drawing nor dizziness since first adjustment.
I recommended my osteopath Dr. John L. Murphy, in the case of [4829]…
As far as my case is concerned, I will come out O.K. with about 25 adjustments, and you need not fear my will power regarding tobacco. I have virtually quit chewing and smoke very lightly. Dr. Murphy is interested in your work and it is very likely you will hear from him.
In talking with him about your method, he said yes he goes to sleep, gets the subconscious mind in touch with the universal mind, which knows everything. I gave him one of your books to read.
R2. 6/24/26 Mr. [270] wrote that Mr. [4212] “has been seeing Dr. Robt. B. Saxmann [D.C.] every day or so.”

Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Received your letter and copy of bulletin. Thanks glad to have it.
Yes we have had a great many changes lost considerable of our fellow employees by the lay off route and salaries reduced several times and the end not in sight as yet.
Mr. Wyrick has been away on a sick leave since the middle of last June. He is now in San Antonio c/o General delivery if you care to write him. He was in bad shape when he left only weighted 150 lbs. his strength has left him, my only hope is that he will gain enough to come back to us.
Since the last reading I got from you it took a long time to find the right man to treat me. I tried an osteopath specialist gave Dr. Saxmann 10 months, and finally left him, then I discovered Dr. Chas. O. Wright, 4341 No. Damen Ave., Chicago who removed the cause and now I am OK. I believe one of your kinfolk called on Dr. Wright and you probably know of him because you checked his progress while Dr. Wright was treating him. So if any of your patients need a real good CHRISTIAN gentleman to bring them back to health I surely recommend Dr. Wright very highly and the best of it is that his fee is only $1.00 and no EXTRA FEE for examination.
Would sure be glad to see you should you come to Chicago.
Wishing you every success and kindest personal regards - I am
Sincerely yours, [4212]

My dear Mr. [4212]
It was certainly good to have yours of the 10th and to hear from you again.
About Christmas time I had a card and a very short note from Mr. Wyrick. I haven’t heard from him since I wrote then, but I am writing again. Thanks for giving me his address.
I also appreciate your giving me Dr. Wright’s address, and I have today written him.
There have been many changes. I know everyone having a job with any organization or corporation is just hanging on, almost by the skin of the teeth. But it won’t be long before times will begin to change. In fact, you can put this in your little note book:
The turning point in the depression was on the 31st day of January, 1933! Now, whether we go up faster than we went down depends a great deal on us. You know, we have been living so long without much consideration as to the source of all we have. [[3976] series?] Faith without any confidence, or confidence without any faith, is like the old Biblical saying, “Faith without works is dead.” But when we realize our own error, and stop blaming someone else, knowing we all have a part and must help reconstruct, better times will be here!
I do hope you will find the opportunity to let me hear from you again. I am certainly glad you are feeling well yourself.
Remember me to Mr. Wyrick when you write, though I assure you I am writing to him again myself.
Please give my regards to all there who remember me or may care to hear.
I assure you that I’ll certainly look you up when I come to Chicago, sometime this spring or summer.
With all good wishes and kindest regards, I am
Sincerely EC:GD ASS’N FOR RESEARCH & ENLIGHTENMENT, INC.

Dear Sir-
I have yours of recent date and have carefully noted same. Will say that I have handled several cases that you have made readings for in the last few years, and I must say that I have found your diagnosis of diseased conditions to be remarkable. Also, I will further state that I have followed your instructions for treatment quite successfully.
Will be glad to co-operate with you whenever possible. I almost feel that I know you, have rendered professional service’s to two of your sisters and your brother-in-law.
Thanking you and assuring you of my interest. I am
Very truly yours [signed] C. O. Wright M.D. D.O.
R6. 3/20/33 EC’s ltr. to Dr. Wright: Many thanks for yours of the 4th. I appreciate very much your writing, and your offer to cooperate wherever and whenever possible. As time goes on, if we are to judge the future by the past, I’m sure that I will be able to suggest to individuals here and there that they call on you. I have been quite interested in the development of interest and results obtained by various physicians in different portions of the country. The most recent development is with one rather close to you, at Peoria, Ill., who has had quite a number of patients - and is now himself taking treatments - following suggestions offered through readings.
In the near future I hope that I may have the privilege of visiting Chicago, and that I may have the pleasure of meeting you in person.
I assure you that it is our desire to be of service wherever and whenever possible. Should there be any data of interest that we might send to you, know that we will be glad to do so.
With kindest regards, I am
Sincerely, EC:GD ASS’N FOR RESEARCH & ENLIGHTENMENT, INC.
