1. EC: These are the conditions as we find them in this body here. We find a body that is good, both physically and mentally, one especially well equipped with the mental balance of the whole body, a thinker and actor among the masses and given to be a leader among men through the mental force and activities of the body.

2. We have through the physical body some things acting on the nerve and muscular forces which tend to produce pain vibrations or pain actions to the whole nervous system and especially to the spinal cord or back along the spine itself. That is we have in the lower ends of the nerves themselves after passing the second lumbar and coming into the ends of the nerves so far have produced on the muscular force and on to those along the cardiac and secondary plexus below the solar plexus, that which at times at certain cycles of the body brings about this gathering of the nerves which produces the muscular reaction.

3. We find that the action of the blood supply in being carried to and from in the body is very good. The digestion tract of the whole system is good, save at times we have a reaction to the kidneys which causes them to carry off too much refuse. The reaction from the urine coming back into the system is not good. The action of the liver at these times tends to produce too much action for the intestinal tract, but that is reflex action.

4. To reduce this or bring the body into a normal condition, we would take into the body this. This should be taken into the system in small quantities; Balsam of Sulphur, three grains to the dose. This should be given into the system once each day for fourteen days. Every third take as a laxative to the system, which will act both the digestional channel and to assist in the refraction of the kidneys and the liver in their eliminating dross matter from the system, that of lickerish [Licorice] one grain with balsam of toulou [Tolu] two grains to the dose, taken once a day.

5. At the times when the pain is severe to the body, apply this. Bathe the portion of the body that is in pain along the second and third lumbar with pure apple vinegar then apply salt heated as hot as the body can stand it. This will alleviate the pain immediately. If this is taken into the system we will find that the body will soon be in a normal condition.

6. This condition was caused by wrenching the body by lifting sometime ago. At the time of the action of the digestion in the intestines the action of the nerve and muscular forces through that portion of the body are brought into action and the body has a tired feeling. This condition will be relieved.
