This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, this 18th day of July, 1921.

[Edgar Cayce; L. B. Cayce (?), Conductor; (?), Steno.]

Time of Reading Unknown.

  1. (Q) LBC: Is there anything wrong with either one of these bodies [[4258] and his wife], Mr. Cayce? (A) EC: The thing to be feared, or the only abnormal condition to be found in [4258]‘s body has to do with the sensory system or the nerve that affects and reflects, that comes to him from strain of his eyes, which condition must be looked after at once. This is the nearest abnormal condition I find in this body.

  2. (Q) Is there anything physically wrong with this wife, Mrs. […] [wife of [4258]]? (A) (Interrupting) Now, in this body I have before me of [4258] the same conditions will present themselves, through the mental state, which have preceded the conditions that have been in his life before - this he must decide for himself. These are not abnormal in the physical, but present themselves through the mental, which will be affected through the physical, if not taken in hand and acted upon promptly.

There are no abnormal conditions as we find in the body here of Mrs. […] [wife of [4258]]. The body is good physically and mentally, is well balanced, above normal bodies.

  1. (Q) Will there be any children born to this union, and how many, Mr. Cayce? (A) Now in the physical and mental attributes to these bodies, which we have here together, there are many things to be taken into consideration, as to a normal or an abnormal condition that presents itself either way, whether normal for good, or abnormal for good - you see - for when these bodies are taken as one they present a different condition as when taken individually - you see - we have one perfect body, physically and mentally, we have one with the abnormal condition that will present itself. Life presents itself from the re-organization of the body, this will become separate or distinct within themselves. This must be treated so, not as one. We have them as two here.

  2. (Q) Will there be any children? (A) This must be decided on within themselves. Children present themselves as being of a union - of a perfect union of bodies between themselves, this must be made perfect within themselves here before they present themselves to these bodies. There will be.

  3. (Q) What kind of business is the body of [4258] best suited for? (A) The development for this body in its application to business, and that for which it will best be suited is as and executive, but this must needs be of development, not as of the condition existing, but of a builded force. As to what direction this should be, it would be as an executive in discerning and leading out men.

  4. (Q) This body has a position offered him at Daytona, Fla., would it be advisable for him to accept? (A) We would say it would be.

  5. (Q) Would you give any advice or suggestions that would be helpful to these bodies in moulding their future? (A) The condition that lies between these two bodies to mould their future is to be as one. As it should be held in the condition that exists between these two bodies, they must each understand and grow to the needful points of each, that they would mould their lives to bring happiness to themselves, those about them, and to those who will be dependent upon them for their own. They must each learn the lesson of “self” as regards all the usages of the life of each as being given to the other, as a helpful force in every question that would present itself to them in their lives as they are to be lived. Unless they do this, they will go on the rocks. Their disposition, likes and dislikes are not as they should be at present, so they must mould their lives so as to be closer together that they would be needful of each other, not as to what the other one can do for them or what they can do for the other that is needful in their lives, this they must do if they would make their lives as they should be; this should be the needful thing - to understand “Self” first - Know Thyself - it would be to each, and what is needful in self to the other that supplies.
