EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Many changes have come about in the physical forces of the body. Most, or all of these are bettered, and show the result of those conditions as have been administered for same. We would, however, be more persistent with the use of the inhalant [See 4261-1], and the exercise may now be taken by the body itself - morning and evening. This may be taken just when the body is ready to retire. The head and neck exercises. At least five times to each side, and front and back, with the circular motion both ways at least ten times. Then manipulate or pull the ears upward and back - close to the head - at least five times - see? morning and evening - manipulating across the nose and down the antrum region, through the face and back to the ear, so that the Eustachian tube is at least exercised from the upper portion. That’s why the ears are pulled, you see - and come down the neck from the face - under the eyes and down to the ear and down the neck - massaging with the hand, at least three minutes morning and evening. This may be done by self.
-
Be mindful of the eliminations of the body. Get plenty of the outdoor exercises, and do not over eat. Eat consistently with that being attempted for the system to bring proper eliminations by absorption in the system. Hence we must not allow foods or digestion to be below normal, or eliminations below normal.
-
Beware of getting the feet or shoulders wet from rain and from drafts. Perspire freely by exercise, but do not allow self to cool off too soon after such exercise. Use discretion, but be persistent and consistent, and we will find these conditions will disappear. Ready for questions. (After pause) We are through for the present.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 6/13/28 EC’s letter to [4261]:
Dear [4261]-
Certainly hope you are feeling a whole lot better, and that you are continuing to carry out the suggestions as were given. The exercises may at times seem rather boresome and unnecessary, but if you will continue to live up to them I’m sure you will find you will get results. The pulling up of the ears will not tend to make them larger, if it’s done properly. They are pulled, as you know, from the base UP. The movement is to exercise the glands that are associated with the thyroids, which tend to secrete the proper fuel for equalizing the physical and mental man - or keeping him well balanced. You know we all need that.
I’m glad to say we are all fairly well here. Hope you are feeling good and all the rest are well.
Let us hear from you whenever you have the opportunity. Remember me to all, and with best love from everybody.
R2. 7/25/28 Mother [482]‘s letter: “[4261] is much better physically thanks to you. Your rdgs. certainly were great, and he surely gets results.”
R3. 12/31/33 His Aunt [340]‘s letter: “I’m enclosing [4261]‘s inhalant prescription [given in 4261-1]. He needs it very badly. When he was home he suffered a great deal with his eyes and nasal passages.”
R4. 1/22/34 He wrote thanking EC for sending him a refill of the inhalant given in his reading which had helped him so much.
