This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Dayton, Ohio, this 6th day of November, 1923.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before you see. [No copy of earlier reading on file.] Has a right bad cold at the present time. Now, the conditions throughout this body in many respects are not as good as when we had them before, for even the local or specific condition from the cold at the present time is not that condition we have reference to, see. The elimination in the system, as we gave before, is poor within the body, and those things as were given for the body’s betterment have not been carried out. That is, exercises and the use of medicinal properties, as given.

2. In the condition in the blood, as is shown by that of the eczema, as called in this body, is produced by this poor elimination or by absorption of toxins from the intestinal tract, or that of the colon itself. Hence the swelling, as it were, or inflammation produced in the system in that portion of the abdomen, - same as we have in that of the ovaries themselves. With this inflammation, there is that condition with the build of the structural body itself that produces the pressure that gives the distress to these organs. Not that they, the ovaries, especially the one in the right side, is diseased or any functioning condition that would cause the trouble, but rather the reflexes from the condition in the intestinal tract, see. We would, to remove this condition in this body at the present time, take this into the system, first: For two days take two tablespoonfuls of Usoline Oil or White Russian Oil, see. This we would take preferably in the evening. Two doses, one each day for two days. After resting one day, then take as much olive oil as the body can well take without becoming rancid in the digestive tract. Best that it be taken in small doses till this condition is well cleansed from the system, then take the massage, osteopathic or chiropractic forces, either, through both the abdominal region and that of the upper trunk portion of body, relaxing well those centers that govern the eliminating channels of the system. Else we will have an overcharge of kidneys from this inflammation produced in the region of the ovaries. Do that.

B1. GD’s note: 7/3/26 Letter indicated she had a miscarriage about three years before and was left terribly lacerated with losing the child. This is evidently the condition for which reading [4280-1] was received.

B2. 9/27/23 Letter and 10/27/23 Letter submitted questions for 4280-1: “Am extremely nervous - have been for past 4 months. Do not sleep well. Awaken 5-6 times every night; have pain in right ovary and back most all the time. No appetite… My tonsils need removing? (I have been so advised.) Appendix? What causes a touch of eczema on the face and hands at times?”
