This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of December, 1925, in accordance with request made her husband - via George LaBryn.

1. GC: You will give a physical and mental reading on this body, giving suggestions for the improvement of either of these conditions. You will also answer any questions regarding this body that I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the mental forces of the body here. Now, we find there are those conditions that are abnormal for the body in the mental and the physical forces of this body, and the greater portion of this has been of an inductive nature.

3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this, we see, in the abnormal condition more by the action of temper in the body than by the physical conditions, for with the over-taxation and poisons as are brought in the blood stream through this physical action in the mental state, all of the functioning organs come under the stress of same. Then we have poor assimilation, poor digestion, and the greater troubles as we find, that has produced this, being that condition as is existent in the throat and in the portion of the body affected by these poisons as are absorbed from that condition existent in the tonsil and in the portion of the body that is affected by the ductless glands of the body.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find, as would be slangly said, “all shot,” see? for there are few of the normal functionings of any of the larger centers or plexuses in the system. These brought about by the condition in the blood supply and by the condition as is in that of mental reaction in the whole portion of the system affected by such. While we have those derangements also in the pelvic forces, through which, and the actions of others towards same, has brought many distresses to the system, these are brought more by this condition in the body physical than by the condition in the inductive force as affects same, though inductively the whole body, physically and mentally, becomes affected, see?

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in the mental, or brain forces, the reaction to these, as we see, are producing those hallucinations and the mania, as it were, for those destructive elements, as taking out, as it were, the forces of that created in system on others - see?

7. In the whole functioning of the system, these show; that is, the organs of same, the effect of these conditions as given.

8. Then, to bring the normal conditions for this body, first should be confined in a place where the proper physical conditions could be forced, as it were, on the system, see?

9. Remove those portions in tonsils that affect the condition. Remove those pressures in pelvis that affect the functioning of the pelvic organs in their normal condition, and in three to eight weeks we should find the normal conditions brought to this body. Do that. We are through for the present.

My dear Mr. LaBryn:-

In yesterday’s mail I received a letter from Mr. […] requesting a reading for his wife. He said that you had suggested that he do this. He also asked that we send our report on same to you. While we are very fully occupied, we felt that from his letter that possibly this was a case where if we could be of service, it was needed at once. I’m certainly then in hopes that this will prove of a great deal of value to Mr. […]. You will please have him sign the enclosed card and return with whatever remittance that he is able to contribute at this time, for we are sadly in need of funds, and we shall be glad to be of any further use if it is possible.

We certainly thank you for your interest and we trust we may have been of service.

We are very much in hopes that very soon, or already, you have had good reports from Texas and we will soon have a producing well there. Please remember me to any there that may be interested, and with kindest personal regards,

Reading fits case very well as she has been in this condition for a great many years but getting worse, we have only been married about 6 years, in the last year have been afraid she might do something to me in putting something in my eating. I asked whether was safe to live with her. I am doing this unbeknown to her, and do not want her to know.

I have been advised by best medical science that operation would not cure, and life was indefinite. How long will we have her with us. Will there be a vital mental derangement before she passes out.
