This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of September, 1925, in accordance with request made by her son, Mr. [551].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body as has been here, see? Now, we find the conditions have grown somewhat bettered in the body than they have been. That portion wherein the operation on the tendon, where shows little improvement for usage for the relief of the distresses to the body, this we find will gradually grow the better. This, as we see, produced by the conditions that have been allowed to gradually grow into the system from the lack of eliminations or perfect vibration or equalization of the drosses from system. Hence the condition as was produced of pressure on nerve tendon on the sciatic forces in the left portion, and also some in the right portion of the lower limbs, see? Now, the greater condition to be met is to bring about those properties for the system that will give the greater relief to the body. These, we would find by adding to those medicinal properties being given, those applications as are being given for assistance, the added condition of the Radio-Active Applicator, see? for this in its natural form carrying with same the application that carries Spirits of Camphor, with that mixture of same, equal parts - Now Spirits of Camphor with Hydrastis, see? equal parts, allowing these vibrations to remain on the body at least two to four hours each day, keeping plenty of ice in the jar or battery while this is being applied to the system. Do that. The sooner these applications are made with this, the sooner would be the relief, see? for while that being accorded the system is of the severe nature, yet these will build, as are given, to the better condition and relief for the body, giving a more permanent relief and assistance for eliminations in this body, keeping the intestinal tract open, see? Do that.

3. We are through for the present.

R3. 3/22/26 Mr. [195]‘s letter: “I saw [551] in N.Y. His mother [4307] was terribly afraid of the battery, etc., and wouldn’t let them use it. She instead underwent an operation and was considerably improved.”

R4. GD’s note: During Mr. [551]‘s correspondence in the next few years he frequently mentioned his invalid mother.

R5. 6/3/34 Mr. [551]‘s letter: “This job means such earnings that will enable me to give to my mother such aid to help better her, and ease her ill condition.”

B1. 9/14/25 Son [551]‘s letter: “My mother [4307] is ill with sciatica, so the doctors say…great pain, and the plans of the doctors are to treat her left foot and the large nerve that is giving this pain and suffering - they plan to make a minor operation treating this nerve. Please tell me all you can to have her restored back to health again.”
