EC: The conditions in the physical forces we find are rather serious at the present time, and the crisis will come within the next twenty-eight hours.

The resistance in the body is hindered by the condition in eliminations, especially the kidneys. Well that the body have the temperature reduced by pure grain alcohol baths and rubs to the upper portion of body, and that cold applied (in ice packs) to head, and equalized the circulation through the gentle massage over the body, just as the alcohol is rubbed into the body.

Well that the enemas of cool water and of oil be used to reduce temperature also.

The water as given should be warm, carrying properties of the strong Yellow Saffron and Elm, that it may be healing to the whole mesenteric system, and that the region of the Peyers’ Patches, or glands, be accorded that gentle massage, preventing inflammation setting up in specific places, and so thinning the walls of intestines as to cause rupture.

Ward against the condition in the kidneys by having the air as applied in room well ladened with fumes of boiling water, in which turpentine and creosote is boiled. This we see gives active forces to this portion of the system.
