This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of November, 1929, in accordance with request made by daughter, Mrs. [18].

1. EC: Now, we find the conditions as disturb this body, while of a local nature in the effect produced, has a deeper seat or cause for same than is apparent from the condition PRODUCED. This, as we find, has to do with subligations or pressures hindering the nerve and blood supply to portions of the system, and in the SAME manner disturbing the eliminations, causing a gradual pressure that has hindered and does hinder the body. This has been gradually growing, until the body is rather assuming the proportions of this becoming a normal condition. It IS normal UNDER the existent conditions, but were those conditions producing same eliminated, and were sufficient counter-irritation and the releasing of nerve energy, and the stimulating of eliminations so coordinated one with another that the condition would be removed and the normal forces of the body substituted FOR same, we might bring about the near normal condition. THIS relying upon the consistency and persistency of the body in carrying out those conditions as would be necessary for the resuscitation of the destroyed or impinged tissue, or thickening of the walls in the ear, or of the cleansing of Eustachian Tubes, of enlivening of the nerve and muscular forces TO those of the sensory system, and especially to the auditory centers, as to bring new vitality and new life. This dependent, too, upon the manner in which the applications for the corrections may be carried about. These taken, or these applied half-heartedly, or without the belief, would act only as irritations - perhaps, or as troublesome conditions arising, and then quitting or not following out fully, would be possibly WORSE FOR the condition than not to disturb at all! for there is seen in the 3rd, 2nd - yes, even the 4th - 4th, 3rd and 2nd dorsal - and OUT of alignment of the cerebrospinal system, also an impingement in the 5th and 3rd cervical. This needs correcting and adjusting, and also the massage necessary along the muscle tissue, applying also those for the sympathetic relays as appear through this portion of the system. Also working out the rest of the cervicals, as to cause the proper distribution of nerve energy and blood supply to the head - especially as that that supplies the energies and impulses from these radial centers to the tissue and the auditory centers (and these should be done osteopathically), stimulating also those of the eliminations through the alimentary canal in the ALKALIN direction. Also applying nerve energy, or electrical vibration of a very low form, to those centers as are so stimulated - 4th to the 2nd - 4th dorsal to the 2nd cervical, particularly. The better would be the reverse coil, or the sinusoidal ray, broken up in the short length. These should not be applied for a great PERIOD of time, but should be applied each day for at least thirty to forty days. These had BEST be applied AFTER the manipulations are given, and these should be given each day - and CORRECTIONS made every third day, and so strengthened as to KEEP alignment throughout. Well were the tubes as lead to the auditory centers - through the Eustachians as well as through the antrum - be stimulated by the manipulations given, for such stimuli to react through the system. Do that persistently and consistently, we will find results. Half-heartedly, then don’t do it! Ready for questions. We are through for the present.
