EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, this body, through the physical is very good. There are some abnormal conditions in the body that have been brought about by outside forces, and we have also those physical forces as give the expression of the effect that the mental and spiritual forces have to do with the system. Now these are conditions as we find them in the body:

The blood supply in the system is very good. The effect produced on the circulation by the force to the exterior portions of the body has oftimes brought the rebuilding forces to a low ebb, for the excess of the coagulation to meet the condition brought about, shows the effect on the circulation, as well as on other portions of the body, and breaks down the resistance in the cellular rebuilding forces.

The nerve forces in the body are often over-taxed by the mental condition of the body, and it produces to many of the centers such an exaggerated condition, as to bring to the physical the results of the shock to the mental and spiritual attitude toward outside influences, as well as influences brought on the body as an individual.

There are lesions about the sacral plexus, the lumbar plexus and the brachial plexus, so that congestion or contraction of muscular forces exist, especially to the left side, giving rise to the conditions, some produced by force, some produced by the state of being of the individual itself.

The functioning of the organs of the system are very good, except when surcharged by influences of the mental status of the body, of outside influences on the functioning organs themselves, by the effect of the conditions.

To reach that which would produce the equilibrium in this physical being, would be, first to remove from the influences of those forces that have to do with the bewilderment of the mental and spiritual forces. Then give that to the system to overcome the condition, and create a physical balance, as would be found in this, and with these proportions:
Tincture Valerian…2 ounces, Bromide Potassium…30 grains, Iodide Potassium…1 grain, Elixir Calisaya…1 ounce, Capsicum…1 grain. Sufficient simple syrup to make 6 ounces. (Shake well before the dosage is taken.)

The dose would be a teaspoonful four times each day - before meals one-half hour, and before retiring. Then with the mental forces abiding on the developing plane, with the better expression of self, the body will come to its normal force.

Beware of outer influences, or coming under the control of individuals or elementals.

(Q) What about the bruise on the left breast? (A) These are from exterior forces. With overcoming these we will gradually build to normal forces.

(Q) What about the pain about the region of the appendix? (A) These are from the nerve forces in the body; and with proper eliminations they will remove these conditions. They are not organic conditions, but functioning affected by the mental attitude, and the nerve forces as applied to the functioning.

(Q) Is there any sign of paralysis in the left side of face? (A) We have given this.

(Q) What is the condition of the lungs? (A) They are very good, considering the nerve and the depleted forces of the blood. With the rebuilding of the general condition in the body, we will find that these will respond, also.

R1. 8/7/67 She requested a copy of 4340-1, saying: “Away back in the early twenties I received a reading from Mr. Edgar Cayce. It was indeed a revelation as well as a privilege.”
R2. 9/16/67 “(1) My main health problem was as follows: As Mr. Cayce said: “The nerve forces are often over-taxed by the mental strain, etc. I had married a cocaine addict. (2) At the time, I was attending a class in Psychology, which was in the same hotel where Mr. Cayce gave my reading. I discussed the matter with my dear friend, Eva Caldwell Knight, who was also interested in these things. She was old enough for my mother, and most likely has passed over.
“Each and everything given by him, came to pass exactly as he stated: ‘Lesions about the sacral plexus, lumbar plexus, and the brachial plexus, so that congestion or contraction of muscular forces exist.’ I had facial paralysis in left side. Bruise on left breast? Ans. I overcame this condition too. Just as he said. The appendix, due to lack of elimination, finally ruptured, and was removed. The lungs, he said, are very good which has been the case up to now.”
