This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce in San Saba, Texas, this 23rd day of April, 1923.

[Edgar Cayce; Alf Butler, Conductor; Fay Autry, Steno.]

Room 52, Time of Reading Norwood Hospital, 11:30 A. M. Birmingham, Ala.

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Now we find the conditions for the body are somewhat improved at the present time from those we had before.

  2. Now these are the conditions as we find them in this body: In the blood supply we find from the seat of the organ through which the infusion of the pus forming bacilli are transfused or carried in the circulation itself, that is, from the condition in the liver brought about by the absorption from the system, and not eliminating through the correct or proper channels causes the backing up in the ducts and emunctories of the organ itself to such an extent, the circulation takes on the condition throughout the whole system, hence the high pressure, the affect to the kidneys, retarding their action, and the effect brought to all of the emunctory and lymphatic forces throughout the whole system bringing those to a very high tension. In the whole system the allaying of the conditions may be to localize conditions in other portions of the body.

  3. To resist and bring out the conditions would be to give in the system those of the properties as we have given, so that assimilation may be taken up in the circulation about the lymphatic centers, as we have given in this body here, see, by the massaging into the thin portions of the body those properties that would allay the condition in the body, and by taking into the system those that would work directly to the circulation in giving the absorption, see. After these have become localized or after the condition has become such as to be reached through other means, then as we have given, those things or characters of treatment would be the proper mode to proceed with, see.

  4. In the other portions of the body we find all of the organs and centers in a way and manner suffer from the conditions, see. We find then the pus in the blood is from the direct condition of the liver itself in its functioning through the emunctory circulation of the organ itself and is thrown or carried in the circulation from this organ, see. Do as we have given, see, if we would bring the best to this body, [4343], Room 52, Norwood Hospital, Birmingham, Ala.

  5. (Q) Mr. Cayce, have you anything further to say regarding this body? (A) Do as we have given. These are conditions as we find: Infusion, first, caused the condition, then it became a localized condition and then thrown into the system, so we have this as the condition.

  6. (Q) What do you mean by infusion, Mr. Cayce? (A) Absorption from toxins taken in the system in times back, and they became localized by conditions in the body.

  7. (Q) Do you mean from medicines taken into the system in times back, Mr. Cayce? (A) We mean from toxins injected in the system, from times back.
