This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 19th day of January, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [4361], via Mr. Arthur H. Lammers.

Born February 1, 1890, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Time of Reading 3:00 P. M. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: Now with this we have those conditions in this entity that have to be considered so far as the will has already influenced the conditions under which the planets rule the destiny of the individual.

2. We find first this of a very temperamental, nervous, wandering, changeable entity in many respects, yet with a purpose always in view, yet never just attained in the manner the entity desires to make a completion of.

3. As to the time we find this was in the early morn, and the influence of the Sun and of that of Mercury are the ruling forces, with that of Jupiter, Uranus and of Septimus. This gives then these influences with the afflictions afar of Saturn and Mars. In the Moon’s change the new or the early changing of the first quarter has the most influence from these lunar forces.

4. This then is the characteristic, or the influence of the characteristics of the entity in the present sphere.

5. One with high emotion.

6. One with the idealistic viewpoint rather than material, though ever of the finer uses of the financial forces comes to the entity in unexpected and in diverse ways, yet those from the influence of the Jupiter and Sun’s forces should be and will be those that will bring the higher or ennobling forces in the developing of the present entity’s position or condition, and with the ruling or dominating forces of Uranus, with afflictions of Mars, will bring in the present year those of many change and unexpected, both good and bad, and will must be exercised to bring the better forces to this entity. The better influence of Jupiter’s forces in the present year will bring many ennobling and ultra forces to the attention of the entity. Well that these be considered, and the better and ennobling forces of these influences kept in the daily life. The first afflictions we will find will come in the last days of present month. Of those days beware in any change of location or place. With the Sun’s influence in the change in early spring or after the Meridian is passed, from the 20th to the 29th of March, the better influence in the last days of April, and first days of June. Again beware of the influence of Saturn, Mars and the better forces as will be overcome through the Moon’s position in those days with the other influences. The will at the present time has done in the body much for the developing of the entity. Too often this has been of too short a duration, and again and again the entity battles with the will and inclinations in the soul and spirit forces, from which the greater increase has been in development of the entity.

7. In the influences of the forces exercised in the physical, we find the body in physical well, and is that that brings rather the influence of expectancy in development physical, mental and moral, and always the financial in the more beautiful side. Hence the turn towards that of artistic forces, and the entity’s development upon the earth plane has been in that of art forces, for in the plane just before this we find this was in that force known as Valesque [?] [GD’s note: Gina Cerminara thought this might be Velazquez.] at that period and time.

8. In the present sphere, we find the individuality of the entity shown in that as brought through in self in study of the forces pertaining to psychic and occult through art, and perception of expression in the manifested arts of present day.

9. As to the vocation, all those matters pertaining to study of art, yet that that keeps the financial end away from that of production, or of producing, for the forces as exhibited in present sphere does not make too rational use of either.

10. In that of appearances, and the individuality as shown in present personality, we find in that just before this in that of Valesque [?]. [GD’s note: See Par. 7 of this reading.]

11. In that just before, we find in the land of the nomads, and of the roaming disposition as is exhibited in the present sphere, and this entity was one of the Arabian then known forces.

12. Before this in the Poseida, known then as Alta, or Atlantis forces, and again in the decorative or art forces of the day.

14. In the one previous to that of Valesque [Velazquez?] we find as that of Xenia.

15. In that in Alta was that of Modusco.
