This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of September, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [4440].

1. GC: You will have before you the body of Mrs. [4440] who was at … St., on the afternoon of Sept. 28, 1926. You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. Now, we find in many ways and conditions the body is very good. There are troubles that cause distress through many various portions of the functioning organism, and the distresses to the nerve system, under the various conditions as have arisen, go to make up the greater distress as is caused in the result of this taxation in various centers, as well as the subligations in the cerebro-spinal system, that are seats, centers, or causes of the condition as existent in the major part.

4. In the system, then - this body, [4440] we are speaking of - we find conditions as these:

5. In times back there were some conditions in the pelvic organs that gave distress. These, through the operations to correct conditions here, brought on, as we see, lesions and adhesions in the nerve system, and in the intestinal system direct. In attempting to bring about an equalization, the lesions were formed in the pelvic, the lumbar, the sacral region. The adhesions are in the right side. Hence we have distresses to the extremities, and through the locomotaries, and also the digestive system, the liver, the spleen, the kidneys, all give rise to troubles by the lesions and adhesions - both, though they are not the same condition, cause much of the same distress. In the variation as is produced in the digestion, the blood supply is hindered, as is the functioning of the liver and the kidneys. The general distress over the system from nerve condition brings nerve taxation from the lesions and the extremities of the nerve taxation - that is, when it is highest keyed, you see, through mental condition, brings through the adhesions the greater strain, especially to capillary circulation. Hence the tingling, dull sensation, and the taxation to the sensory organism and the organs of same.

To overcome these conditions would take time, patience, care, persistence - yet these may be brought to their normal condition in this functioning body, for the will power of the body is capable of being manifested in that direction wherein the vitality, strength, and the ability to bring recuperative forces in the system can be manifested through the action of mind over matter in this body - yet there are physical conditions, mechanical conditions, that must take place for the body to be brought to this normal condition.

7. Then, we would take those of the deep manipulation, osteopathically given, for the muscular tissue must needs be broken up gradually, as must correction in the subluxations in sacral, coccyx and dorsal and lumbar region, with the general condition over the whole system, as each center in the cerebro-spinal system responds to the various corrections. Hence we will find it will take two to three months of treatment, kept every other day, to bring about this correction. When at least two weeks treatments have been taken, take those properties as will be found from the Radio-Active Appliance, using the iron as the stabilizer for the blood supply, and the vibrations from same will assist the nerve system and of the equalization of all of the organs as are assisted directly and indirectly through the functioning of those glands as are termed ductless glands - for with this variation in the vibration in the system, the equilibrium in katabolism and metabolism and the general system is thrown out of balance. These will correct it, through those vibrations. These should be used at least an hour each day, PREFERABLY as the body rests, see? Do not keep the vibration longer than one hour at the sitting.

8. Do this. Be persistent, consistent, and we will overcome - for much good may be manifest through this entity’s endeavor in the physical plane.

Dear Mrs. [4440]:

Yours of the 24th did not reach me in time for the reading to be taken at the hour appointed. However, circumstances were such that it was possible for us to put this in yesterday morning - but this was made as of the hour as was set, so we are in hopes that you will not be disappointed, for we felt from your letter, your desire to cooperate with our efforts, and our wish is to be of service and help whenever possible, and we feel sure this is possible when we have the cooperation, whole heartedly, from the individual desiring the help.

We hope you will let us hear from you from time to time, and we assure you it is our desire to be of help if possible.

As for the Radio-Active Appliance, you will be able to obtain this from Mr. T. B. Brown, Brookins Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio. You will only be able to obtain this through this source, as this is a mechanical development from the readings as have been given. Mr. Brown, however, will instruct you as to how this is to be used, and I feel sure you will obtain results from same, when used in conjunction with the other suggestions given.

I did not know I had any of the troubles only very nervous at times. My mind is not active as it used to be. I can’t remember things I want to. I’ve been very nervous and my vitality low since I was in an auto accident two months ago. I was pronounced with other troubles that you do not mention. I never had an operation in my life. I am constipated and my liver gives me trouble. I almost passed out with kidney trouble and hives in 1914, but I took Viair and was made well after all the doctors failed. Then I broke my knee cap in 1916 and at Johns Hopkins they found syphilis. I was treated and treated then took a treatment myself for a year and am not so nervous as I was, but they would still find it 3 & 4 plus, but I look wonderful and I work but I just feel worried about myself. I refuse to have a test for I nearly go crazy if it is not all gone so you not finding it worries me and makes me feel glad also my uterus organs are all right and I think my kidneys. I stand perfect with life Ins. Blood pressure normal. I may have adhesions but I do not think so.
