This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of June, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [4620], via her son, Mr. [4621].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, we find the abnormal conditions that cause the distresses in this body at the present time are produced from specific conditions that affect the functioning of organs in the system.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4620] we are speaking of. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this shows some streptococci in the blood, produced by auto-infection. This brought about by specific conditions in the 8th and 9th dorsal, which affect the stimulations as is received to the organs of digestion, and this hindered digestion causes the system to lack the power of assimilation, or of digestion, and this conditions producing, the foods lying in the system without digestion, causing the re-absorption. Hence the infection in blood and the condition as exists in the various portions of the body as are affected through this condition. High hepatic circulation. Temperature at times. Low resistance throughout the system. Disturbances and nausea of the stomach. Improper functioning of the organs of the pelvis. Headaches. Pains to the top of the head. Aching across the lower portion of the hips. All of these conditions are the reflex effects as are carried in the functioning system from this condition as exists here in the dorsal region.

5. Then, to correct these conditions would be first through deep manipulation, WITH the application at the time (that is, before the manipulation was given) of wet packs, very warm, to this portion of the body. Then the adjustments and the gentle treatment of all of the system, see? to bring about the coordinating of the organs of elimination and of the digestive system.

6. Use high enemas, such as the Cascade, to relieve the strain in the colon and relieve the distresses as are caused in the right portion of the ascending colon. This will relieve also this stress on the portion of the intestine that enters the colon. The blood supply being relieved of the conditions, the rebuilding forces in same will create the necessary conditions to overcome this tendency of destruction of white blood and red blood cells in the system, or the war as is between the two, with the change in the condition of the heart’s action, relieving of the nausea, and of the headaches.

7. There should be at least twenty-six (26) such treatments, and the enemas should be taken at least every day for ten (10) days. Then they may be taken every OTHER day until the system is clear of this condition. Also the disturbances as are seen in the pelvic organs will be relieved by this change in the circulation, and in the adjustments of all of the centers along the cerebro-spinal system.
