Time of Reading University Hospital, 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Ann Harbor, Mich.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. Now, we find, while those conditions as are being accorded the body are beneficial in many ways and manners, they are not entirely reaching the cause of existent conditions. Hence there will remain that undeveloped portion that is not receiving the full equalization in correction of conditions in this body.

4. The cause, as we see, of the unbalanced condition, produced by the normal development of physical conditions in the body against a physical defect in structural portions of system, and also by the prenatal inhibitions in the development of the entity as the whole - the physical condition existent in that of a pressure being produced on the pineal gland and its nerve supply as the thread through the system. Hence the enlarged condition existent in gland proper, and that produced by the presentation of the embryo at the time of birth, and the pressure produced in the 1st and 2nd cervical, producing then an unequalized condition to the metabolism of the body, and this producing this spasmodic condition in the system - the prenatal effect being that of the inductive forces as are shown in the pineal thread in this prenatal condition. This being weakened, and pressure caused in the cervical, gives an unbalanced condition to the whole normal development of the entity, and of the responsive forces of same to the brain. Hence there showing, by the close examination of the body, this unalignment in 1st, 2nd, cervical; also in the lower portion of the cerebro-spinal center, just below the ilium plexus.

5. Then, for the full correction of the conditions, we would, through osteopathic adjustments, correct those conditions in the cerebro-spinal system, at the cervical centers, and in the coccyx, and the plexus about the sacral. Then apply, while these are being adjusted, those vibrations from that of the Abram’s vibrator, or those from the Radio-Active appliance, using the negative at the umbilicus, with the positive at the change from the right wrist to the left ankle - that is, alternating those connections, using same vibration at least three HOURS each day, making adjustments with the osteopathic forces, applying at the same time those magnetic forces from the electrical forces that may be created by the palm of the hand.

6. The diets as have been outlined are excellent, as also those that produce elimination.

7. These conditions, we find, should in three to six months eliminate the conditions producing this abnormality, and the depressions in system be brought to normal forces.

8. Do that.

R2. 9/13/26 EC’s letter to mother: “There was so much in the reading that could not be understood unless this was all taken together, that I felt it was best to send it to you special delivery, rather than trying to wire it in part. During my twenty-five years’ experience, if I remember correctly, we have had readings for at least thirty-five or forty persons who were said to have this trouble, I don’t think there are more than one or two out of the lot that were not cured, though I don’t remember of ever seeing the same thing given for any two of them. It has never failed on the case of a child. I certainly am in hopes that it proves just as successful with yours. I believe it will, if you will carry out the suggestions fully as they have been given here.

“I hope you will let me hear from you from time to time. I assure you it is our desire to be of service if possible.”

R3. 9/13/26 Mother’s letter to EC: “Answering your wire of Sept. 13th, I am unable to understand contents which reads as follows: ‘Reading special delivery could not understand without all being together.’

“Last Thursday, the 9th, I sent you wire stating that child would be Monday, the 13th, between 10 and 12 in the morning at University Hospital, children’s ward, at Ann Arbor, Michigan. On the same day, Thursday, I also had a letter typewritten with enclosure of $5.00 forwarded to you. In the postscript of letter I stated that if child were not to be at the hospital on Monday, the 13th I would so inform you by wire.

“We expect to have the child home Tuesday, the 14th. Please let me know what to do next for your reading, if you have none made. If possible send nite letter.”

R4. 9/15/26 EC’s telegram to mother: “Reading mailed you on the thirteenth as per wire of that date.”

R5. 9/16/26 Mother’s wire to EC (phoned): “Do not make out meaning of letter to treat [4625]. Use simpler terms. Answer at my expense.”

R6. 9/16/26 EC’s wire to mother: “Osteopath adjustments needed using either Abrams or Radioactive Appliance as vibratory force. Vibration used during period of adjustment not at same moment but same day. You can get Radio Appliance from T. B. Brown, Brookins Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio.”

R7. 5/12/27 Form sent out by Association of National Investigators, Inc.:

Kindly advise us in the space below if you have followed all, or any part, of the suggestions given in your reading of September 13, 1926, and give us in detail the exact results you have obtained.

R8. 5/16/27 Mother’s reply to above A.N.I. form: “I couldn’t get a good Abrams vibrator and didn’t understand the suggestions so didn’t follow any of them and the child is about the same but his nervousness has improved.”

B1. 9/2/26 Mother’s wire: “My son [4625], age four years seven months subject to epileptic convulsions. First attack last January 6th about eight attacks the first three weeks in April - no attacks until August 19th and five attacks since. Child willful and highly temperamental. Wire further enquiries.
