This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 22nd day of October, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [4626], via Mr. [900].

Time of Reading … 93rd Street, 3:50 P. M. Dayton Time. New York, New York.

1. GC: You will have before you [4626], who was yesterday afternoon, 10/21/24, at her home … New York City. You will give the physical conditions of this body, answering the following questions: 1 - Why does this body not become pregnant, and how is it possible for it to do so? How soon is it possible, and will she be in good health before and after? 2 - How is it possible for this body to lose weight without injury to the physical body?

2. EC: Yes, we have the impressions of the body here, with the physical conditions of the body - October 21st - 3:00 P.M. -

3. The body physically, in the functioning of the organs in the body, is very good. There are two conditions existing in the physical body preventing the conception. This we find is caused by the condition and position of the womb itself, which is in such position as to excite the secretions in endocrine glands, so that any semen that might produce conception is unable to be retained until fertilization takes place.

4. To correct this condition, necessary that womb be straightened. This may be done either by operation or by using internal medicated packs for same, until the muscular walls in the vagina are able to hold the womb in correct position. Either would take six to eight weeks before would be in normal condition. Then would be better, if conception is desired at once after correction, that injections of endocrine be taken in the body, injected either in shoulder or in the hip. Necessary that at least three to five of such injections be taken.

5. The health of the body would be well through such stages, were the health guarded in a normal way.

6. In the reducing of the body, there would be endangered this condition until the end of the period. Then by giving up in the diets the sweets and sugars the body would assume the normal weight for the whole body, under the age, the height and the conditions relating to hereditary environments in the physical body, [4626].

Your letter did not arrive in time for the reading to be taken yesterday, but you will see this was taken as of October 21st, 3:00 P.M. I am in hopes you will find in this that which will be in keeping with that you desire to know, and I trust that the carrying out of the suggestions will bring you what you wish. I thank you for your contribution to the upkeep of the work, and I sincerely trust that I have been of service. Would be glad to hear from you at any time if we can be of further use…”
