GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Now, we find that this system has become so uneven in its equilibrium as for conditions as regarding eliminations of used forces to become acute, and then these conditions affect various portions of the body in specific manners. However, not always the same portion of the bod, for at times we find the extremities in distress. At others it affects the kidneys, and again the throat, and the sensory system. Hence the condition in the last spell (though the body is some better at the present time) affects, as we see, the digestive system.
-
Now, this condition affects the system through the blood and through the nerve system, for we find there are impingements in the 10th, 11th and 12th dorsal. This in such a manner that in cold or congestion this becomes acute, affecting then directly that portion of the system that is in its cycle of functioning. Hence the various conditions as become affected in the system. The treatments for same have been of a varied nature. Hence the condition has come to that station where the general diagnosis is of complications, when the seat of the trouble is rather the complications, and results are the natural effects of the existent condition, though much that has been accorded the body from time to time has brought on different conditions in the functioning of various portions of the body, as is seen in the kidneys, the liver, and the bronchials. Especially has this affected the condition in the nasal cavity, where there exists a form of a catarrhal condition that, with the over amount of these impurities of toxins not eliminated, this becomes then affected in a toxic way and form. Same occurs in the emunctories of the kidneys. Hence the distresses as are caused from time to time.
-
To rid or clear this system from these conditions, we would first have those conditions in the dorsal region corrected by the adjustments, either chiropractic or osteopathic - preferably the osteopath, for the kneading and relaxing and tauting both of different portions of the trunk portion of body needs this treatment and massage, that the adjusting will be more effective in the system. At least twelve to thirteen (12 to 13) such adjustments and treatments should be given. Every other day these should be given.
-
When this has been completed, then there should be applied to the body those vibrations from that as known as the In-Mo-Ray treatments, or the vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance. Such will create the proper metabolism and the proper vibration in system, that the whole may work as a unit in this vibration created by system in rebuilding. Necessary that many more of the applications of the Radio-Active vibrator than the In-Mo-Ray, for one works from the point of the equalizations - that is, the Radio-Active forces, while the other works from that of nerve and blood cleansing, yet both giving the same results in the end on this particular body. Do that then, keeping the system in proper rebuilding through the diet, which should consist principally of fruits and vegetables, yet little of the very acid, as apples or lemons, yet any and all others would do good for the body.

We are through for the present.

R1. 7/12/26 Wife’s letter to EC:
Chicago, Illinois
Mr. Edgar Cayce, Association of National Investigators, Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Last week Mr. Taylor wired you to give a physical reading on Mr. [4673] which he requested for me. Sorry to say it does not cover the case clearly. This reading was also referred to Dr. Saxmann whose analysis of the body does not check with the reading. He is at a loss to understand it, in fact the entire reading is unintelligible to him.
Yours truly, […]
R2. 7/28/26 EC’s letter to [4673]‘s wife:
Mrs. […] …, Ill.
My dear Mrs. […]
I have yours of the 12th, and note what you have to say regarding the reading not coinciding with the condition as found upon examination by the doctor. This is, of course, unusual. Naturally, we are seeking to know what was the trouble, and I hope that you will lend us your assistance in trying to locate this. This possibly the third or fourth instance of this kind during my experience with nine or ten thousand readings. If possible, we would like to know WHY this occurred. We THINK we have an idea. Can you tell me this? Did Mr. [4673] know that this was to be taken? Was he in accord with the conditions? Did he desire that it be made? Please let us know respecting this, and oblige.
Yours very truly, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
R3. 7/28/26 EC’s letter to Dr. Saxmann:
Dr. Robert B. Saxmann, 7300 Princeton Avenue, Chicago, Ill.
My dear Dr. Robert:-
Some weeks ago we had a request for a reading on Mr. [4673]. I understand from these people that the report on same did not coincide with the conditions as were found upon examining the body. I understand also that you were called in to see the case, or perhaps are treating the case. Of course, this is an unusual experience to us, and we are trying to determine the cause for this, if possible, and we’d like to ask your cooperation in the matter. Would you outline to me, briefly, the conditions you found with this patient when you made your examination? I would appreciate this, if you would do this for me.
I hope you and Dr. Harriet are enjoying the best of health. We certainly would be glad to hear from you from time to time.
Thanking you for past favors and for this, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
R4. 7/28/26 EC’s letter to Ralph Taylor:
Mr. Ralph M. Taylor Room 308, 427 S. LaSalle St. Chicago, Ill.
My dear Mr. Taylor:-
Regarding the reading as was requested for Mr. [4673] we understand from Mrs. […] that the reading did not cover the conditions as were found by the doctor upon examination. This, as perhaps you know, is unusual, and while we have some idea, possibly, of how this occurred, we would like to follow it up and know, if it was possible for us to know, just how this happened or why it occurred. This is possibly the third instance of this kind that has happened during my whole experience of twenty-five years.
Could you tell me, please, if Mr. [4673] was desirous of this reading? Did he know anything about it? What would be YOUR opinion of the reading? I’m sure you must have read it and perhaps knew his condition. Let me know about this, will you? I’d certainly appreciate it.
Thanking you for past favors and for this, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
R5. 8/2/26 R. M. Taylor’s letter to EC:
Chicago, Ill.
Mr. Edgar Cayce, 115 W. 35th Street Virginia Beach, Virginia
Dear Mr. Cayce,
I have your letter of July 26th, and while I do not know a great deal about what happened before or after the reading was made, yet I do know that the request was made upon me to write you for it, and at that time I acquainted the parties with the fact that it would be necessary for the individual concerned to be at a location specified at the time the reading was to be made. This being a fact, it is quite obvious that he knew about it.
Personally, I am not inclined to treat the matter with a great deal of concern, and if you will take my advice you will not worry about what may seem to be an unfavorable reaction. Were it possible to discuss this matter with you I feel sure that I could alleviate your mind considerably, because there are some other things connected with it that I don’t care to write about.
Perhaps it will be our good fortune to meet sometime this summer, and I will be pleased to give you my version of the matter. It has also come to my attention that the reading has not been paid for, and I let it be known that this was not fair. Should they not decide to meet the fundamental requirements in the near future, I shall take care of it for them.
Trusting that you are well, and that you and your family are enjoying themselves at this season of the year, I remain,
Yours sincerely, [signed] R. M. Taylor
P.S. Treat this very personal.
R6. 8/7/26 EC’s letter to R. M. Taylor:
My dear Mr. Taylor:
Many thanks to you for yours of the 2nd. I appreciate, also, your response to my request, and thank you for your explanation. I certainly do hope that you do have the opportunity to get down this way this summer. There are many things I’d like to talk over with you, that I hope will be of mutual interest and advantage.
Let me hear from you whenever you have the opportunity, with kindest personal regards,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
