This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of December, 1936, in accordance with request made by the wife - Mrs. [1100], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, conditions show a great deal of improvements since last we had same here. The increasing of the eliminations has taken a great deal of the poison and refuse forces from the body as produced disturbances in same.
-
It would be well for the body to still take precautions as regarding the eliminations; as respecting getting cold or damp, for this would tend to make for easily the renewing of those centers’ disturbances that have caused the congestions.
-
However, to move in the open or be active in the open would be well - if those precautions are adhered to.
-
In another two or three days it would be well to have again the eliminations with the use of the same properties as indicated.
-
Also that there be local attention to the teeth, that there may be the eliminations of those disturbances that make this rather a contributory cause in producing excesses of poisons in the system through accumulations. When this is done, if Ipsab as an antiseptic would be massaged each day into the gums, it will be found to make for greater benefits in this direction - AFTER the local attention where there has been an accumulation of pus pockets with the roots of some of the teeth removed.
-
Being precautious about the diet, keeping the feet dry and warm, we should find conditions greatly improved for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What specific teeth should be removed? (A) As indicated, those where there is shown or indicated that there has been a forming of pus pockets. We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/1/37 Ltr. to EC from Mr. [470]:
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
Well thanks to your help, I am up and around again. Was pretty sick and could have been a lot worse if we could not get the suggestions given by you, and for which we are both very thankful. Guess I came very near to having a long serious illness.
Have been back to normal the last three and a half days. Took a short walk yesterday and had one this morning. The last two days have been nice with clear skies and sunshine.
[1100] seems to hold about a temperature of 99. This is not much but hope it will clear up. If not you will probably get a wire to give her a check reading.
This was an odd way for one to spend the Holidays. Both of us in bed, but we were very fortunate in getting a nurse who could give us the right diet and one who follows a health diet herself. We have not told her anything about you as the osteopath she goes to is the one who gave Thompson the warning about the batteries at the time of the trouble here in Detroit, so we thought it best not to let her know. She thinks all the suggestions come from Dr. Thompson.
Am going to take a little ride this P.M. and go out and sit in the office for a short while.
We both wish you and the household a very happy and prosperous New Year and hope you all stay in the best of health.
As ever your friend, [470]
