GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Now, we find there are those specific conditions in the body that cause the many derangements as are seen in the functioning and rebuilding in the system in its proper way and manner.
-
These are the conditions, then, as we find them:
-
In times back, there was first (at time of birth) that injury to the 1st cervical that caused an impingement to that nerve as passes through the whole system, and that governs the equilibrium of the whole body. This, in the various stages of the developing body, shows the effect as is produced by disturbances in various portions of the system, at times causing the inability of the blood (from the connection of this condition with the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus) to give to the system that replenishing force necessary for a normal growth or development. The pressure also produces to the brain force that deflection as causes this distress in the mental development and mental equilibrium as is normal for the physical forces; though, as we see, the mental shows those aberrations wherein some accentuation at times gives an extravagance, as it were, in the development of certain faculties. Again these seem all at a loss, in the manner of presentation or manifestation of the faculties.
-
Then, to bring the normal conditions for this body would be, through that of chiropractic or osteopathic forces, to make those adjustments necessary in the cervical region (and in the rest of the spine), that gives free movement, free motion, action, of the nerves and of those centers that are depressed by this condition as is seen in 1st and 2nd cervical, see? Correcting those in the brachial and in the upper lumbar, and when same has been corrected until the system is in a normal condition (as far as the cerebrospinal system is concerned), apply those vibrations as are found in the Radio-Active Applicator to the body for the equalization of nerve and blood supply for the body.
-
Giving those diets that will keep the normal forces for the developing system, equalizing the amount of carbon and protein as taken into the system; keeping plenty of water, inside and out, for the body.
-
The developing mind and that in the mental forces that keeps an equilibrium necessary, ALL must be followed, persistent and consistent, would we bring the normal conditions to this body.
-
Do that.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. GD’s note: 1/18/26 EC wrote urging the mother to get in touch with a competent osteopath and to order the Appliance from Mr. Thomas B. Brown, Brookins Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio who would send full directions. He also wrote Tim Brown: “Just to notify you that in all probability you will have a request for an Appliance from Mrs. […], the regular kind, for her little boy, seemingly undeveloped physically and mentally, and is to be applied in the regular manner.”
R2. 3/15/26 GD wrote the mother (at EC’s suggestion) asking if she ever rec’d the reading, “as we haven’t heard from you. Please let us know if you have gotten any results from carrying out the suggestions. If you have not, we would like to check up with another reading and see what is the trouble.”
