GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body.

EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions with the physical forces of this body. Some we find are of the specific nature, that has to do with the functioning of organs in the system. Others have to do with the condition as is produced in system by same and the effect as is produced by this incoordination through the system. Hence, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [4818] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find deficient in the rebuilding forces in system and lack of that necessary to induce the perfect functioning throughout the system, on account of the effect as is produced on same in portions of the body.

IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the greater effect as is produced in the distress of the body. IN the lower lumbar regions we find lesions are produced by conditions that exist from adhesions and lesions as produced from the existent forces that have existed in times back in pelvic region. In the dorsal region, this affects the plexus as governs the relation between the sympathetic forces as govern the plexus of the hypogastric and pneumogastric forces of system. Hence the trouble as is experienced at times with the digestive forces and with the liver, and with the excretory system. Again we have reflexes of same in the upper dorsal and lower cervical that affect directly the functioning of the sensory organism and the lungs, with the blood flow through the secondary cardiac forces. This whole condition, as we see, produced by nervous shock as received by the system, which taking in the condition of lesions, has brought about these effects in the system.

In the functioning, then, of the organs themselves:

We find in the brain forces, these are very good. When the pressure as is produced on those centers, where the diversion from same effects organisms of the body, this repression as is produced by pains in the head, produce this over taxation until it seems the body would be lost in the distress of same.

Eyes show the effect of the leavings of the blood supply in its inability to relieve through circulation those repressions as are produced by leavings, or drosses, left in system.

Throat, bronchials, larynx, very good at present, though depressions as produced by the condition in the secondary cardiac forces often produce overflow of secretions to portions of bronchials and larynx.

Digestive system, rather that of the nerve digestion than indigestion, though indigestion often is experienced in the lower portion of the intestinal system. Hence the drain and strain as is produced in the right side of body, especially through the lacteal ducts, for from there we find the lesion in the plexuses of the nerve system cause the distress to the body. The body, then, has forms of toxins, as is produced by this condition, as the over strain is to kidneys and to liver both, one being inactive, the other over active, as the repression is found in the system from the lesions and adhesions produced in false pelvis forces.

Then, to reduce the condition and to bring the normal forces to the body, we would first take those properties in the system that will give the correct incentives for the eliminations, then correct the condition in the cerebro-spinal nervous system, giving the correct functioning of the body and the correct vibrations through the adjustment of these conditions and bring about the normal forces. Taking, then, this:

To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add:
Syrup of Sarsaparilla…2 ounces, Elixia Calisaya…1 ounce, Fluid Extract Stillingia…1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Yellow Dock Root…1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Poke Root…20 minims, Fluid Extract Capsici…1 minim.

Shake solution well together before the dosage is taken. The dose would be half a teaspoonful taken three times each day. When two-thirds of quantity has been taken (and at the same time keeping the intestinal tract open, full, free, that we may reduce the eliminations and the excretory forces may be functioning nearer the normal), begin with the deep manipulations in the whole cerebro-spinal system, adding the light rays to the lower dorsal and the lumbar and sacral region, of the Alpine Rays. These we find will give the correct vibrations and the eliminations necessary to produce the adjustment and coordination through the body here, [4818].

(Q) Is an operation for female trouble necessary for this body? (A) This, as we see, is produced by lesions as are formed in the pelvis region, as given. The medicinal properties are first to produce the proper eliminations. The adjustments and rays are to overcome those lesions and those vibrations as will bring about the better condition for the body. Not necessary for operation if these are carried out. The adhesions as are produced may be broken up. These, we would find, would be better through manipulation and the rays as would be applied the body to overcome, and to prevent the spreading of these conditions in system through absorption, than by operation. Do as given, if we would bring the best to this body.

(Q) Should these manipulations be given osteopathically? (A) Given osteopathically, for we find with the adjustments there must be the lesions broken up, rather than adjustments of vertebra cervicals or dorsals or lumbars, for the lesions should be broken, with the adhesions. Hence the application of light and heat with same.
