Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ky. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes. As we find, the delay has not been beneficial for the betterment of the body; for this has produced in the minds of those about the body any thought of either acceptance or the use of that which might be given.
-
However, if there would be applied for those disorders that exist a compound rub prepared in this manner, we would bring for the body a much better response:
-
Obtain common clay from the surrounding territory, or even in the own yard - not that with grit, but dig sufficiently deep to get rid of the gravel and cinder on the surface - and mix with same sufficient olive oil to make almost a putty substance. Apply this to the area from the 1st dorsal to the 12th dorsal on the spine of the body - next to the skin itself, see? about half an inch thick, only covering the spinal area. Let this remain on the body for twenty to thirty minutes. Then remove and cleanse with tepid water.
-
Then apply this lotion or compound:
Rub Alcohol…6 ounces, Russian White Oil…2 ounces, Tincture of Benzoin…1 ounce, Tincture of Lobelia or Essence of…15 minims, Oil of Sassafras…5 minims.
Necessary that this be kept in a glass corked container. Shake together thoroughly before a small quantity is poured out for use. Massage in the spine from the base of the brain to the end of the spine, and especially over the locomotary centers. Massage from the base of brain DOWNWARD, and never toward the head - but away from head.
-
This would be done each day:
-
Also following same use the Radio-Active Appliance to equalize the circulation.
-
Be mindful of the diet, that this is kept of those things that are easily digested.
-
This has been a stoppage, to be sure, of the circulation; forming the inability of locomotion in one portion of the body, see?
-
Ready for questions.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/30/34 Mrs. [979]‘s letter: “I’m sorry I have so long neglected to tell you I rec’d the rdg. you sent for Mrs. [485]. I sent it on to them at once. I had a letter from my niece (her daughter) saying that [485] had had a bad spell that had frightened them. Dr. said it was a bilious trouble. She told me she was sitting in the room by the fire, all at once she went blind. The daughter thought she fainted. Anyway, that was before they got your rdg. I haven’t heard from them since I sent them the rdg. but I feel sure they will try what the rdg. said. I thank you, Mr. Cayce, for it. I know what a busy man you are and am glad you could take the time for me when you did. I hope it won’t be too late to do her any good. The main thing she has been taking treatments for the rdg. did not mention, so feel one reason she has not been helped much by doctors the last 2 yrs. is that they just don’t know what her trouble was. I am going to insist they follow your directions, and if she is helped can check up on it later with some questions.”
R2. 5/14/34 “The rdg. expressed the truth about my sister-in-law, Mrs. [485], not going to try what was told her. I get so disgusted trying to help those who won’t help themselves. I wish I had gotten the rdg. for my brother [570] who needs it and would have tried to do what was told. Wasted our effort and money on her. Haven’t heard from her lately.”
R3. 6/5/34 Her husband, Mr. [570], obtained a Physical rdg.
R4. 9/8/38 Mrs. [979]‘s letter: “Have just ret’d from…Ky. where I was called on acct. of my sister-in-law’s death [Mrs. [485]]…your rdg. was true, she would never try it. My brother [570] did try his and was greatly helped.”
“P.S. Mrs. [485] had a sore on her limb. Doctor said it was varicose veins that had given her trouble for years. She passed away very suddenly.”
R5. 11/1/44 Mrs. [979] writes of the daughter of [485] and [570] wanting a rdg. for her husband.

B1. 12/2/33 Husband’s sister [979]‘s letter: “Now I am going to ask you if you will please give a rdg. for Mrs. [485] for the amt. enclosed. She doesn’t know I am getting it although she would like to have it but didn’t feel able to get it. She has been doctoring for this trouble for over two yrs. This last summer she was under the care of a specialist in Pittsburgh, Penna. So far can’t see that she improves. It will be a great favor if you will give this, and am sure my brother will pay you if she is helped. Please send the rdg. to me.”
