This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Tutwiler Hotel, Birmingham, Alabama, this 25th day of November, 1922.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal condition as we find in this body has to do with the distribution of nerve forces and of that which has brought this to the condition as we find it at the present time, which hinders the functioning of some of the organs of this body.

2. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4851], present here, we are speaking of: The specific cause of this condition we find is produced within the ilium plexus and sacral plexus by a bacillus that was given into the system to create other bacilli to ward off the arising of conditions in the system that had to do with the Peyer’s glands. This centering about the sacral plexus has caused the internal lesion along and about this plexus. This we see governs the action of the locomotories and affects the nerves and muscles of all of the plexuses that have to do with locomotion, see. We find the body at the present is better than it has been in times back in regard to the affection along all centers governing locomotion, whether in the sacral or brachial or solar plexus center. The affect that has brought the better connection through this portion of the body is the making of the connections between these centers so involved, and the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal nerve ends that feed or assist in the governing of the distribution of muscles and blood supply through this portion of the body. This, we see, has been and is an affection of the nerve ganglia and not of an organic nature, the organs being affected reflexly.

3. To bring the assistance necessary to the restoring of the proper connections and vibrations necessary to make this a normal body, we would give into the system that which would create more lymph centers and cell forces to rebuild and give the vibrations necessary to create the same vibration throughout the whole lower portion of the body here, [4851] we are speaking of. Keep the adjustment along the whole length of the spine as the new vibrations are created in the body so that we will not have improper connection of nerve fiber or tissue and blood distorted conditions in the body. Then, give into the system, radium water. The dose is prepared - one dose in each container. There will be given two doses each day, morning and evening. Just after these are taken, the body will be treated with the X-ray light or vibrations, see, that which will penetrate the whole system and destroy the vibrations other than is created of a life-giving nature in the system, a very, very high voltage. Do that and we will find within a little while, three to four moons, we will begin to have better connection between the nerves of the sacral and ilium plexus and the sciatic and locomotory nerves. Do that.

4. (Q) Mr. Cayce, do you mean violet ray or X-ray? (A) Had we meant violet ray, we would have said violet ray. We mean X-ray.
