This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of March, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [4860].

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are those conditions in the physical forces of this body, were these corrected, would give the more normal functioning of the whole system. These have to do with the metabolism of the system.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4860], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, in this we find there is shown the existent conditions in many portions of the system, for the toxins that are left in the blood stream show the effect as is created in various organs at the various cycles of change in the organic vibration of the system.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find: There are specific conditions in the body that have long caused distress, and to this the greater portion of the physical condition is in this condition. In the 1st cervical we find there the lesion first produced in times back, even from the first, for this has produced that condition as affects directly that as controls the division in the mind forces, as relative to the action in sympathetic system. In the 5th and 6th dorsal centers we find that which disturbs the metabolism of the heart’s action. In the 2nd lumbar that which disturbs the mesenteric system and produces that, with the combination in the others, of the condition in the blood supply, wherein the lymph becomes too much of an excess to the system. Hence the whole general debilitation, or the inability of the whole system to function TOGETHER in its equilibrium, without the specific conditions, save as are seen by the cycle of its functioning.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING THEN OF ORGANS IN BODY:

7. In that of the sensory system, under that strain as is produced by this condition existing in the 1st cervical.

8. Heart, lungs and the bronchials show the effect of the circulation and the condition as is produced there by the action of the blood, not being in the way of cleansed properly, and of carrying those toxins that give the after effect. Not tubercular in its action, yet showing that straining of the tissue in same.

9. In digestion very good, considering conditions; though this often brings, in the overflow of blood produced by over-eating (when such is done), that in the taxation of the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus that gives this fullness to the whole right side, and pressure produced on kidneys, with the taxation in the system attempting to eliminate same.

10. Then, to bring the normal conditions for this body, first we would, through osteopathic manipulation, make those corrections necessary for the system to become incentively normal in its equilibrium, through nerve energy; correcting that in the 1st cervical, 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal and 2nd lumbar - 13 to 26 such adjustments or treatments would be found NECESSARY, see?

11. THEN we would apply, AFTER such has been taken, those vibrations as are found in the Radio-Active Appliance, using that of the iron, in that to the umbilicus center, to give stability and the blood supply that necessary for the REBUILDING in same.

12. Do that, and we will find we will bring the NORMAL conditions to this body in 90 to 100 days.

My dear Mr. [4860];-

I enclose you, herewith, the reading as gotten this afternoon, which you heard, and as I suggested, as this gives you some corrections to be made by the osteopath, I believe I would take this to Dr. Bright. I don’t know his address but I’m sure you can find it, and as I understand, after you have taken this month or two month’s treatment, then you should get this Radio-Active Applicator and use that every evening when you retire, for about thirty to sixty days, after which you should be alright. This Applicator you will be able to obtain from Mr. T. B. Brown, % Brookins Mfg. Co., Dayton, Ohio. He will give you the directions and everything as to how it should be applied. I certainly hope you will let us hear from you from time to time, and I trust that we have been of some service.
