GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here.
-
Now, we find there are those abnormal conditions with the body and many of these may be corrected. This condition has to do with specific conditions in the body and the effects as have been produced by the improper functioning of various portions of the organism, and the effect this has produced on the nerve system, and then indirectly through retractory forces the effect received in the reaction through brain forces. The seat or the cause of the trouble being an effect of injury to the body and the action of parasite in the system that affects centers in the nerve system. The body would then receive the better attention in an institution such as Still-Hildreth, for there the correction of the injury to the spine - in the lumbar and sacral - would be made, relieving the pressure on the pineal gland in the base of brain and its cord or thread, or connection, as traces itself through the body. We would find also the correction of those conditions that allow this parasite, or this condition that causes the blood supply to become active toward that of the destruction of lymph cells in the end of exterior nerve centers in capillary circulation, and the relief from medicinal properties that cause the engorging of some centers governing the gland in the central portion of body, above the kidneys.
-
With this correction, we would find the body would respond to the reaction as would be set up in the nerve supply and brain reaction become near normal again, for we find there are periods when the rational forces in body are in predominancy to the extent that the system responds to normal conditions. This body, through such treatments, may be brought to much usefulness yet. Macon, Missouri - the place.

Mrs. [[4862]‘s daughter] …, Alabama
Dear Mrs. [[4862]‘s daughter]:-
I enclose you the reading as was gotten on your father. Seemingly, there is a great deal of hope and encouragement, provided you can have your father taken care of in the institution referred to. I know very little concerning this place, though I do know there have been several people that have gone there from the suggestions received in readings, and most of them have gotten wonderful results. I certainly am in hopes that it is so that you can give your father the advantage of this place.
As to remuneration, Mrs. […], we do not make a charge, but the welfare of all associated with the work depends upon the contributions from those we try to assist, and I am sure that each one will want to contribute according to their means and abilities. We shall appreciate your contribution.

Mr. Edgar Cayce, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
As requested in your letter of October 1st, relative to a reading for my father.
I have handled with the Superintendent of the Hospital. He advises that my father goes around about the hospital grounds busy at employment prescribed for his treatment and that they would not know the exact spot he would occupy that date and hours of two and four p.m. His ward is No. 11, he wrote us that himself. The Doctor also stated that he very probably would be some where about the hospital grounds on that date and hour.
Hope this will be sufficient information for you to give the reading.
Am anxiously awaiting your reply, I am […]
