This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of April, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [487], Asociate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 4:20 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time.

1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now, as we find, conditions are on the improve with this body.

4. The effects of the disturbances to the general system, and especially the glandular forces, are as liquid in the system - as might be termed.

5. Thus these are the periods when there is apt to be the greater disturbance from after effects, or the periods when such are the more liable to appear - or occur.

6. Then, precautions are to be taken not to strain the eyes, not to overtax the body physically - that is, with violent exercise.

7. Do not get the body damp by exposure in the open, - as in rain or dampness, or the feet wet in such; else we may find the tendencies for congestion to be the result, and the affectation to some portion of the body where conditions would be weakened - as, here, in the joints or in throat, or eyes, or in kidneys.

8. As we find, we would remain quiet at least another day - or until there is fair weather; and THEN - when working in the light - be sure to wear a green shade.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) How is the best way to keep eliminations open now? Should anything be taken? If so, what is best? (A) The mineral as we find is the better in the present; such as Sal Hepatica, or Rochelle or Eno Salts.

11. (Q) What should be the dosage? (A) Depends on which is to be taken. If the Eno is to be taken, take a heaping teaspoonful in a glass of water before breakfast - for about two days. If Rochelle Salts is taken, take about a level teaspoonful in the afternoon. If Sal Hepatica or any of the effervescing salts is taken, take two heaping teaspoonsful in the afternoon.

12. (Q) Any suggestions regarding the diet? (A) Whatever is desired by the body that is easily assimilated, but not too much sweets.

13. (Q) How long should it take to get the poisons out of the system? (A) As indicated, about one to two more days.

Take greater precautions as to the weather, and as to light - of shading the eyes when working, see?
