This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of Dr. Kraus, New York City, N.Y., the 11th day of January, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [4875], via Dr. Eugene R. Kraus.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now we find there are some abnormal conditions with this body that may be corrected. While we find conditions that to the body have grown normal to this body, these conditions that may be corrected have to do with the conditions in the eliminations that are affected by the system’s infusion in the body, that has produced abnormal functioning in portions of the body, that has produced abnormal functioning in portions of the body, as we shall see.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4875] we are speaking of. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find those conditions in the blood rebuilding forces that show how the pressure is produced on nerve system, and how that abnormal functioning is produced by such pressure, and in the constituents of the blood supply this produces also that condition in the nerve system. There is carried in the blood stream that element that produces the infusion that causes troubles in the functioning of organs in system. In the nerve supply, the elements in the plexuses about which pressure in produced, and in the sympathetic system and the junctions with the cerebro-spinal, especially, do these conditions exist. Then, these specific centers come under the condition, with plexuses from other portions in system: The upper sacral, the 1st lumbar and 12th dorsal. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal and in the 1st cervical. These conditions are the connections with sympathetic and cerebro-spinal connection in nerve system, producing the lack of perfect coordination and equilibrium in distribution of blood pressure, and of nerve reaction in the body, and in the 1st cervical, pressure produces on the pineal nerve and gland that disturbance that comes from the pelvic connection with the pressure produced in sacral region.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find many very good, considering the condition in the body.

6. The brain forces good in the functioning system, yet lacking in the coordination as reflexes through the sensory and sympathetic system.

7. In the throat, bronchials, larynx, disturbances at times (not always), through the improper effusion in the nerve distribution with the lymphatic circulation.

8. In the digestive center, the reaction in upper dorsal gives the distress through the lower portion of digestive system. Hence the disturbance in the duodenum and in the pancrean secretion for system, under certain diets in the body. In the hepatic circulation and in the hypogastrics there is the disturbance in nerve reaction, from overflow and lack of equilibrium, which produces the taxation through the hypogastric circulation, especially for kidneys, and the organs of the pelvis.

9. Then, to bring the normal conditions for this system, we would, with the equalization in the centers, as given, with their pressure, both in circulation and in nerve supply; that is, blood supply and nerve supply, add those vibrations as would be found in the discharge from this:

10. To one gallon and a half of rain water, add:

Plain Charcoal…1 pound, Heavy Sea Salt…1/2 pound, Copper Sulphate…1 1/4 pound, Sulphuric Acid C.P…1 1/2 ounces, Common Zinc…6 drams.

11. This, as we find, would charge self, but should be charged with low amperage and high voltage, for at least one hour. While being charged and used, have in the solution one pound (glass container, glass stopper) of the iodine solution, using one heavy copper pole, one steel (carbon steel) pole. To these poles, attach small wires, preferably those insulated, to which would be attached small copper plates, and these attached one to the solar plexus center, the other to the 1st cervical center, for thirty minutes each evening. This kept for at least three weeks. With the manipulation to the system and to the body, producing equilibrium in circulation, the removal of pressure in centers, as given, the eliminations stimulated through these perfect conditions being produced, the vibration will assist the body to gain its equilibrium. Do that.

12. (Q) How is the cerebro-spinal system affected? (A) Affected by this infusion, as is shown in the centers as given, causing this condition in cerebro-spinal system. Do as we have given, if we would bring the system to that condition where the functioning will become nearer the normal. The added condition of the vibrations from electrical forces, as applied in this vibration, added to this the electrical infusion of iodine, adds that to the nerve system that produces in the white nerve tissue, or matter itself, to bring the condition bettered to the body.

13. We are through for the present.
