This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of December, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [4884].

Time of Reading Route …, 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Selma, Alabama.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions with this body, and these are of a specific nature, but may be corrected in more than one way and manner.

4. These are the conditions as we find them with the body at the present time:

5. In many ways and manners the body is very good, yet this specific condition as was produced by an injury to the body in the pelvis region, when the body was very young, produced an adhesion in womb, which causes the condition of a hooded womb. This, then, presents such irritation that there is the reaction through the generatory system, and to the sympathetic nerve system, in the centers that have become involved in the condition, until these, in the reaction, produce the regurgitation of nerve reaction, and brings too great amount of blood to the centers, and especially to the head. These, then, present themselves in the form of contraction of the muscles and of the spasmodic condition to nerve centers about the cerebro-spinal reaction with the sympathetic system. Following such conditions we have various effects produced in the body by this reaction, depending upon the cycle of activity of various organs that are functioning when such contraction or convulsion occurs. At times nausea is produced, as after eating, or when stomach is near empty. An over activity at other times of the kidneys. Again the blood supply runs high and a temperature is shown, and pulsation is abnormal. Again we find there are those reactions that produce congestion, in the sudden change in circulation over the body.

6. To overcome, then, this condition, as given, this may be treated or corrected in two manners - either by the operation (which would be of a mild nature) remove the lesion, or the adhesion, and THEN remove lesion by the manipulation or exercises for the body - OR this may be removed by local applications to the body, through the womb, you see, or in the womb, or about the womb - through the vagina - of medicated packs, that would bring about reaction - FOLLOWING same - that is, these be used at the same time - but manipulations that bring the centers along the cerebro-spinal system where the direct connections are between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. These could be given neuropathically or osteopathically - osteopathically would be the better perhaps, provided that the packs were properly adjusted. The neuropath could remove same by giving stimulation to the centers, especially, in sacral and lumbar, and along 9th, 7th, 6th, 4th dorsal; 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th cervical, see? making deep manipulation along these centers. This would require longer, of course. Either of these will remove the condition and correct that as is abnormal through this region.

I enclose you the reading as was gotten, and certainly am in hopes that you find relief from your trouble by following out the suggestions as are given. These, I think, are specific instructions, but should any question arise that you would like to ask about, we shall be very glad to try and be of help. There are two modes of treatment, as you see, and you may choose whichever you feel is the best for your circumstances and conditions.

Now, while we try to help everyone that it is within our power to help, yet our work depends entirely upon contributions from those whom we try to serve, and we ask everyone to be just as generous with us as they would like for us to be with them. We hope that you will contribute as your heart and conscience dictates.

Many thanks for your report. I feel very sure that you will gain the benefits if you will follow out the suggestions as were given.

As you will see from the enclosed card we are making the appointment for your husband for the afternoon of the 1st of February. This is the first open appointment we have at present. We sincerely hope that we may be of service to him also.

Dear Mrs. […]

Yours of the 16th of October to hand. Owing to the recent illness and death of my mother, I have been unable to take care of the appointments on hand, or to make new ones - but we shall be very glad to make an appointment for a reading for yourself, and sincerely hope that we may be of service. Our first open appointment is the afternoon of December 9th. If you wish to have the reading made, please fill out the enclosed card, giving your OWN full name, also state what road you live on, and how far from Selma, that there may be no trouble with the location. You will also enclose with this appointment card whatever contribution you wish to make toward the upkeep of the work. While we do not make a specific charge, it is true, still those whom we try to serve may see, from the experience of others, what may be gained and what has been gained through the years from complying with the suggestions as have been made in these readings, and we feel sure that each one will contribute according to their means and abilities. CONDITIONS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN BEST RESULTS FROM READING:
