This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 3rd day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by Mr. M. B. Wyrick. [Involuntary Reading - given without suggestion being presented, immediately following a volunteered physical for Miss [147] which followed life reading 900-38.]

Time of Reading 12:20 Noon - Dayton time. Bosque County, Texas.

1. EC: Now, in the operations as we have in the well being drilled on the lands of Madison Byron Wyrick, in Bosque County, Texas, we find there has been reached some of the formations not as satisfactory to the operators as would be expected. This should not discourage the operators, for we find this is only that of a lap that has come in the formations as have been laid down in the Paleozoic age, and the shifting of these brought this lap in between. When passing through this, the water will not be sufficient to cause troubles. Drill on. We will find the production thirty-five hundred (3500) barrels per day.

R1. 3/3/25 EC’s letter: “Rec’d your wire last night but was unable to get the reading for you until this a.m., at which time I wired you. I’m enclosing a copy of the reading gotten. I certainly hope things are going fine by now and that you’ll have no more trouble. Mr. Blumenthal is here now and of course we’re quite busy but if anything comes up don’t fail to call on me.”

My dear Cayce

Received the reading today the message few days ago. The reading is encouraging but I don’t understand why we do not find production at depth previously given. I felt sure the 4242 depth would give us what we were after. Now we are past 4365. The formations check very closely to the readings. I am leaving for Chicago. Please give me another reading when you receive this. Give depth drilling - depth at which we WILL FIND PRODUCTION in this well, formation now and changes to production. Also reasons why it has not produced at previous depths given. Many are growing discouraged and I must raise more money if we go on. Find out also how much more money we will need to bring production. Is there anything wrong with individuals concerned with the organization, with the organization or equipment that should be corrected. Will we need another string of casing sand line or belt to finish with?
