This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 17th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by - An involuntary reading, that is, volunteered without suggestion being given to obtain it, immediately following a check physical reading for Mrs. [136].
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading Bosque County, 11:00 A. M. Dayton Savings Time. Texas.
- EC: Now, as for the operations on the land of Madison Byron Wyrick in Bosque County, Texas, we find these are progressing very good. The condition wherein the soft muck and the soft shale has proved troublesome to the operations. They are now reaching, though, the cap shell in and under which will be found the production. This is not so very thick. More gas and oil are showing in the cuttings. They will accomplish the purpose in this soon. Without hindrances should be very soon - in next twenty-four (24) hours of drilling.

R1. 6/17/25 EC’s letter to Mr. Wyrick:
Dear Mr. Wyrick:-
Enclosing you herewith copy of the reading as gotten for [4211]. I’m sure you will find this quite an interesting reading. I’d like to know what his people have to say about it, and also what you think of it.
You will also find a reading as was given voluntarily with another reading this morning on the well. I had been very much in hopes that we would have some good news from same before this, but seems we will be delayed for another day or so.
I certainly thank you for letting me know about it as you have. I’m very much in hopes that this will soon relieve the strain on all that are interested in same.
Hoping and trusting to see you soon, and to hear from you whenever possible, with kindest personal regards from all,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
R2. 6/18/25 M. B. Wyrick’s letter to EC:
My dear Cayce
Many thanks for well reading of yesterday. Certainly looks good and checks with Martin’s message of same date.
[4211]‘s [Wyrick’s son] reading is rather peculiar have not talked with him about it.
Will sure wire you when it comes in. If you do not hear from me, might give another reading Saturday and mail to those special same as last Sat & Sun. I am afraid the belt bull rope or cable may cause a bad delay. We broke a new cable twice last week each time dropped tools in hole. Second time broke bit from stem fished it out after removing stem. Good work.
Best wishes MBW
