Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/45 Report by Mr. Tom Baugh of Hopkinsville, Ky:
“When Edgar Cayce lived in Hopkinsville I knew him well and heard him diagnose many cases, some of persons who lived here and others of persons from all parts of the United States. Nearly every case, when instructions were followed, showed results. I made an electrical apparatus from his diagnosis for use by his patients. I made one for Miss [243], the first one I made that gave good results.
“I will tell you of one case that many people here remember: [4924], a city policeman at the time, was in bed several months. Mr. Cayce diagnosed his case and had me construct an electrical device, many parts of which I had to order from New York. I made it, took it to his home and showed his wife how to use it. In two weeks time [4924] brought it to my store and said he wanted someone else to have it in order that it might help others.
“I made different types to suit various diagnoses and shipped them from Maine to Texas.
“It’s a funny thing to me that Edgar Cayce, when awake, did not know the first thing about electricity. He couldn’t even make a connection on a battery. Yet in a trance he seemed to know all electrical terms and would even tell the types of electrodes to use.”
