Dear Mr. Cayce:

For fear that you will not remember me just from my name, I will explain who I am, so you will readily recall me.

I was the party who took dictation from you when you gave a reading to Dr. Wilkins [4952], when he was trying to locate the lost Radium; [GD’s note: I remember EC telling this story; radium disappeared from Dr. Wilkins’ laboratory; it was not there, then all of a sudden it was put back - which the reading indicated would happen.] I also took dictation for Mrs. [105]‘s reading you gave her several years ago on one of your visits here.

The question I wish to ask, do you think you could locate the Lindbergh baby? If so, and you will advise me by letter, I will immediately write the Lindbergh’s suggesting your name. [See [4191] series.]

The fact of the business is, that I did write a letter to Mrs. Morrow (Mrs. Lindbergh’s mother, thinking the police would not open it if addressed to her), in which I suggested your name, telling them I felt sure that you could locate the baby for them. Judging from the newspaper articles, however, I fear that my letter never reached any member of the family, but was intercepted by the police. I wrote them the day after the kidnapping, putting on a special delivery and air mail stamp.
