GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes. Conditions are serious here. While there has been very good coagulation, and healing is indicated, we would not change from those administrations which are being made in the present.
-
But to prevent a recurrence of the conditions becoming more in the form of “eating in”, we would add that there be taken about twice each week (that is with the rest) one-eighth of a grain of Animated Ash, and then use (5 to 10 minutes after the Ash is taken) the ultra-violet ray for half a minute to a minute over the area with the green glass projected between the body and the light.
-
Thus we will have better chance for eliminating the sources of these aggravated conditions.
-
Do that.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 5/28/44 Dr. Henry George’s letter: “This morning Dr. Christopher U. Linder of New York, came down to …, Pa. and after going over Mrs. [5119], outlined a mistletoe treatment for her. He wished to be remembered to you, and hopes that your suggestions will be more effective than his, as her condition to us does not appear good. I have ordered the Activated Ash and as they have a hot mercury sun lamp am now waiting for the green glass and will then be set up for the follow up treatment. Mrs. [5119] will probably return home this Sunday, June 4th.”
R2. 6/6/44 Dr. George’s letter: “Mrs. [5119] has started on the Activated Ash that you suggested and is getting the ultra-violet through the green glass. Dr. Linder feels, as your reading stated, that she is very seriously ill, to quote ‘it is unlikely that she will live until the end of the year’. I am sorry that they are the tough cases that I have to call you in on, but there will no doubt be others more hopeful also.”
R3. 7/2/44 Dr. George’s letter: “Mrs. [5119], the case of duodenal carcinoma, has gained 8 pounds, but of course it is too early to say anything. Frequently they start off well, only to drop back in a few months, but thus far she is much better.”
R4. 7/14/44 Dr. George’s letter: “She has gained 10 lbs. since returning home, now nearly 2 months. She has enough Activated Ash for a few weeks more altho I plan to order them for her shortly so that she will have enough in reserve. She at last found out what she had and that we had secured a reading from you unknown to her. Now she is reading your autographed book and like the rest of us wants to go down and meet you. She is developing peculiar feelings of flushing, heat surges in the shoulders, which she had a few months before she came to me and we found the cancer. I don’t know just what that means, but am wondering if in a couple of months you could give us a second physical reading? Linder feels that she will be dead by Xmas. I hope your suggestions will prove him a false prophet.”
R5. 1945 Dr. [4927] reported that Mrs. [5119] died in November 1944.

THE ASSOCIATION’S HEALTH SERVICE
By Henry George III, M.D., D.O.
Reprinted from October, 1947 issue of the BULLETIN of The Association for Research and Enlightenment, Incorporated Virginia Beach, Virginia The following address was delivered by Dr. George at our Sixteenth Annual Congress last June. He is a member of our Advisory Board of Physicians under whose direction we are mapping and carrying out a plan for using the information - which Edgar Cayce gave in his physical readings. - H. L. C.
Three years ago I was introduced to the work of Edgar Cayce, and all of my introductions were very unhappy. You heard about a terminal case of carcinoma. Well, I was having a run of terminal cases. Having had some very unhappy experiences in the field of abstracting and research work, I had become a cynic and a skeptic.
I had a woman patient [Mrs. [5119]] that I had X-rayed, and all X-ray findings had made a diagnosis of a malignancy of the first portion of the small intestine. It was of such a nature and she was in such a critical condition when she came to me that I wasn’t sure that we were justified to consider surgery. The husband asked that we get the advice of Mr. Cayce. We secured a reading twenty-four hours before we operated on this woman. He told us the location of the cancer; he told us that about twenty-four hours after the operation she would be desperately ill but that if we followed a certain procedure she would survive. He did not, however, hold out any great hope for the future.
We operated, and she became critically ill, and eventually pulled through. And then he told us about some things that were outlandish and for which I could find no justification in the literature. He told us that for the relief of pain we should get a piece of Belgian green glass, and that this was to be rested on the woman’s abdomen, and an ultra violet light was to be exposed above her body, and that if we did that we wouldn’t have to use morphine. We tried it and we found that we didn’t need to give her morphine.
Now that woman died, as unfortunately nearly all of my malignancy cases have, but I learned something about the accuracy of the work of Mr. Cayce.
R7. 6/11/52 No record of verbal or written contact on this case since 1945.

Background
B1. Born 3/5/03 in Virginia; married; 2 children.
B2. 5/14/44 Dr. George’s letter: “Following our phone conversation this afternoon, I went up to the hospital and went over Mrs. [5119], and discussed her condition with her husband and her mother. They are both hopeful and anxious that everything that possibly can be done be carried out. Accordingly, I am enclosing the form which you sent me and which I have given to Mrs. [5119]‘s husband to fill out for her. I will ask that you give me another blank which I will fill out for myself. Mrs. [5119] is in room #111 in the … Hospital in …, Pa. She was operated on Friday morning and an annular carcinoma was removed from the distal part of the duodenum, and a metastatic mass also from the omentum. Surgically speaking, her prognosis is very dark, and even now she is a critically sick woman. A duodenectomy was performed, the malignancies were removed in so far as we could locate them. This type of carcinoma is usually resistant to X-Ray and radium. I have called Dr. [C. U. Linder, M.D.] in New York, who uses viscum, mistletoe in the treatment of these cases, and if she recovers, he plans to outline future treatments with this plant. This in brief, is the history of the past few days. Were she my wife, I would attempt every aid possible, and so I have prevailed on her husband who knows nothing about you and never heard your name until I mentioned it, to earnestly seek your help. Both he and Mrs. [5119]‘s mother will be seeking the aid of the Almighty through you. Questions pertinent to this case: (1) Is the use of mistletoe treatment indicated for her? (2) What procedure offers the greatest possibility of saving her, and is such possible?”
