[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis and J. Fitch, Stenos.]
Time of Reading 10:30 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Conn.
-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for the help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
-
EC: Yes, these are unusual circumstances which disturb the better equilibrium of this body.
-
As we find, there is a subluxation which exists in the 3rd, between the 3rd and 4th, and some adhesions or lesions in the 2nd of the dorsal segments. These have deflected the circulation to face, head, ears and nose especially. For there is some infection, through the irritation produced by the hindrance of the lymph circulation, through the soft tissue and in the area of bone structures; that is more of a gristle than bone infection; which has caused period when there is swelling, irritation, breaking out on face almost as if it were solid with eczema.
-
These are from poor circulation, and the carrying of infection through portions of the body causes an upset throughout.
-
Do at least once each day have packs over nose and face with at least three or four thicknesses of cotton cloth saturated with Glyco-Thymoline.
-
Do have the short-wave electrical treatments. These should be about once a week, yet we would have corrections neuropathically or osteopathically in the area where the subluxation exists. These should be about twice or three times a week. Do not use the short-wave of a greater strength than three amperes. These should be over the area where there are the hindrances in the circulation to the face and head. These should not be of longer periods than about twenty minutes, or less time in the beginning.
-
Do keep close to a diet consisting of less meats; though fish and fowl may be taken in moderation.
-
Do these things and we will make better conditions for this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Would a change of climate be beneficial? (A) This would be beneficial, but if you’ll keep your hands from these conditions on the face, and do those things indicated, we will make better conditions for body.
-
(Q) Do you recommend the continued use of nose drops? (A) NO! These have been the partial cause of the infection.
-
(Q) Would you suggest a change of diet? (A) Only as indicated.
-
We are through with this reading.
