1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [5157].

3. Nice good German, isn’t he?*

4. As we find, there are those disturbances in the chemical processes of the body through the lack of proper eliminations or drainages being set up through the whole system, so that poisons which should be carried off through the alimentary canal, or through the activity of the kidneys and bladder are at times eliminated through the respiratory system.

5. These, by those activities through the body cause chemical changes; and these have made for pressures in the segments along the spine where minor lesions have formed, especially in the areas from the 1st of the dorsals, or first the 3rd cervical, then through the upper dorsal and the area of the 9th dorsal, but in making these corrections, we would first have prepared as this:

6. Have a level tablespoonful of Sulphur, a level tablespoonful of Rochelle Salts, and a level tablespoonful of Cream of Tartar, mixed very thoroughly together. Then every morning, as long as the quantity lasts, take a level teaspoonful, either in water or dry, as the body prefers. Not a very good dose but it will correct these disturbances, provided there

are the corrections osteopathically made to make for the better associations by the corrections which will be made, by correcting the segments in the areas of spine indicated.

7. Then do not eat large quantities of starches, nor too much fats. Sugars for the body should be cut to a minimum. Do keep away from carbonated waters.

8. And we’ll bring better conditions for this body.

9. Do that.

B3. 1/30/44 Father’s letter: ”…Naturally we were disappointed that we would have to wait until 5/30/44 before you could consider one case… My wife feels that she would rather have you take up the case of our son first… He has been bothered with a skin disease which has puzzled all doctors who have examined him… Since my son is very uncomfortable and is subjected to itching most of the time, we would greatly appreciate your being able to select an earlier date than 5/30/44. We live at … and will advise where our son will be on the date that you may set. Please make it as soon as you can…”

B4. 5/24/44 Father’s letter: “My son for whom we wish advice will be in … We all look forward with hope and confidence that you will be helpful. Thank you for your interest.”
