[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis and Jeanette Fitch, Stenos.]

Time of Reading Set bet. 10:30 and 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Ohio.

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5160].

  3. As we find, not a great deal may be suggested for this entity under the present environs and conditions and surroundings, but if there will be any great betterment there must be, from those whom the entity thinks and feels a great deal of and for the arousing of desires for recuperation.

  4. For there has been in the mental self of this entity those discouragements, those disturbances that have added and do add a great deal to the detriment of the better physical conditions.

  5. But if there is hope and purpose and desire raised in the mental self of this entity, there may be brought about, with the administrations being made, improvements.

  6. Then, when the conditions are such that the body may be away from those present surroundings and can make the administrations which may be suggested, we may bring nearer to normal conditions for the body.

  7. The incision will require some little time more for drainages, but if there is hope raised, these can be brought to better conditions; without it, you cannot.

  8. We are through with this reading for the present.
