1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body; and the soul would take leave of same. There are many experiences in a life’s journey in the earth that are much more serious than that man calls death, when the trust of the soul and heart of the man is in the Lord, who doeth all things well. There is little interpretation-physical [that would be given] of the disturbance, and it is gradually progressing in the inabilities of the entity to do for self, think for self. Even yet there is in the consciousness the desire that those, for whom the entity has been responsible for their being in the earth, should take note and prepare while they may to meet their God.

3. For the time cometh, as it must to this body, when no work is to be done but ye must stand before the judgment bar of thine own conscience, as must each soul, and determine as to whether in the light of the knowledge, in the light of thine opportunity, ye can as thy friend, thy God say, “I have dishonored no man, I have taken naught from my brother, but what I restore fourfold.”

4. And remember, as this entity goes to its long rest, there are those whom he has entrusted with an obligation. Do not disregard the counsel. For he has been and is viewing those past opportunities that soon shall come no more in this life. There are the warnings, heed them! For the Lord will not always smile on those who disregard the warnings which have been and are being now, here, made to those whom this body would have heed the warning.

R3. 3/31/52 GD’s letter to Mrs. [349]: ”…We would like to know from [257] if the man died, how soon after the reading, and the nature of his ailment. The reading indicated he was dying…”

R4. 4/2/52 Mrs. [349]‘s reply: “I telephoned [5195]‘s son […] and he told me that his father died in September 1946, of an ailment called ‘ciposis’, if that is how it is spelled. It has something to do with the bloodstream [cirrhosis?]. I didn’t ask him if the Physical Reading prolonged his father’s life, and I felt that if there is more specific information you would like to have, you might write him personally yourself.”

B3. 12/11/43 Mr. [257]‘s letter: “Attached is a letter from [5195]‘s son, Mr. H. I. R. He has asked me a dozen times about writing you regarding his father. This entire crowd came to hear you while you were in New York lecturing, and all were turned away because there was no room for them. I am attaching the questions I would like to have asked. His father is always at home and in bed. It seems that cases of this kind keep coming up all the time. This time I hope to bring it to the attention of the doctors in New York, who have been hounding me ever since you left town… (1) Please give a general Physical Reading, giving the cause and cure of this condition which is affecting the whole body. (2) Can this condition be stopped where it is? (3) Is there any specific treatment that will stop this condition, wherever it is found, which seems to be unknown to the doctors? (4) What immediate treatment can be given to prolong the life of this man? (5) What diet should be taken while the treatment is given? (6) How long should treatment be given? (7) Who is the proper doctor to handle this case? Give name. (8) Is this a hereditary condition, or one that is contracted? (9) Please advise us how we can pass this information on to medical associations to prevent the ravages of this disease in other people. (10) Is there a name for this disease, so it can be further investigated for welfare of humanity, and recognized in its first developments?”
