This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of June, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [5210], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5210].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions. These have gradually become complex; though, as we find, with the corrections of the main disturbance most of the others, the conditions which have arisen, will gradually be eliminated.

4. For some time back, there have been those conditions which arise from a misplacement of the womb. This is partially from an injury or a pressure and this, with the periods, has gradually caused a great deal of distress.

5. From such accumulations, unless measures are taken, it may require operative measures. This, the effect upon the nervous system, upsets the whole activities of the body. It is anemic; it has little assimilations, most of the foods which would be taken, at one time or another, disagree.

6. All of these are from nerve depressions which are produced upon the organs of the digestion, so that even the stomach itself is dropped; not in the sense that it is “out of line”, but tends in its position to cause food to ferment! There is a great deal of gas, apparently through duodenum and the upper portion of the jejunum; grumblings at times through the bowel. All of these become very disturbing to the body; tired, weakness which may follow the periods, with headaches, with a bit of nausea. All of these are the disorders.

7. We would advise that the body have the treatments from - not an ordinary osteopath, but an osteopathic gynecologist. This may require that, after there has been some ten or twelve adjustments there be the packing of the womb so as to put it into position; and this will require some three to four to five treatments of this nature.

8. Then, for the strengthening of the body, for the gradual building up of the vitality, use Yogurt.

9. For aiding the digestive forces, as through the alimentary canal, have a little Elixir of Lactated Pepsin with Milk of Bismuth. This to be taken following the periods, once or twice; a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and five drops of Pepsin in a glass of water, after the heaviest meal of the day.

10. Then have a colonic irrigation.

11. If these are kept, we should find, within three to six months, we should bring nearer to normal conditions for this body.

13. (Q) Did I inherit my ability to be allergic to so many foods and soaps? (A) As has just been indicated, these come from nervous disturbances in the body, produced primarily from conditions which upset the general cerebrospinal system; that is, the liver and the kidneys, especially from this nervous disturbance.

14. (Q) What is the correct diet for me? (A) As has been indicated, we would have a well-balanced, normal diet. Do not become too much as “I can’t eat this or that, or I can’t do this or the other”, but normal conditions for the body. There will be many changes when there have been these adjustments and positions; the much better vitality. It may possibly be required that there be worn a support for the stomach as corrections are made, as well as the packing of the womb to put it in the proper position.

15. (Q) What will clear up my bad skin condition? (A) Clear the conditions from the absorbing of poisons and we will clear the skin.

16. (Q) Am I slightly mentally ill? (A) No, save as to who would be the judge. Every individual is slightly mentally ill to someone else.

B2. 12/15/43 Letter: “Will you please send me the information regarding sponsored membership? I have read the ‘Life and Work of Edgar Cayce’ and understand the reason for your worthy Association. Consequently, I am much interested in becoming a member. However, my financial problem is about as immense as my physical problem, so I would greatly appreciate the information you would send me.”

B4. 6/5/44 Case history and questions submitted in addition to those at end of 5210-1: “(1) What is the cause and cure for cramps in my pelvic region every month? (2) Am I nervously upset? (3) Please prescribe for normal health.

I am 22 years old and for the past 10 years have suffered loss of weight and lack of energy due to being allergic to many foods. The most help I have ever received was with tests made on a radionic instrument last January. Many years ago I was given skin tests by needle for positive and negative reactions for food and pollen allergy. Since then, I have left out foods according to that test, which helped very little, as my system continued to throw off poisons through my skin and in the form of colds. The radionic test showed I was still eating foods to which I was allergic and at the same time leaving out foods to which I was not allergic. The radionic test has proved to be most accurate as my present diet has given me energy and added weight - very slowly, but surely. Yet, I am still much underweight and my skin is still bringing forth poisons although it might be just a left over amount as I was completely saturated in January. However, just leaving off the wrong foods does not cure one of being so allergic. The cause still remains, so what is the cause and the cure?”
