GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

EC: You like not to have been born here, didn’t you? Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [5254].

In giving the interpretations of the records, there is much from which to choose, which has been made upon the skein of time and space by the entity. Not all of this is beautiful, nor is all of it bad. But we would magnify the virtues; and we would minimize the faults.

Remember, in the analysis of the urges which are latent and manifested, which arise from activities in the earth or the realms through which the entity passed, none of these urges surpass the will of the individual entity; that which is the gift of the Creator, that ye may make yourself one with the Creative Forces, and thus indeed a child of the living God.

The abuse of the abilities separates self from the Creative Force.

In giving the interpretation, then, the urges, as we find, these are the composite, as it were, of the manifestations during the interims between the appearances in the earth, and the appearances in the earth.

One who is very pleasing in its personality, one who has learned or gained that concept of patience in such manners or measures as to become a very good instructor or teacher, and one who hasn’t gotten the “big head” or too “self-conscious” because of knowledge, but has learned that a little knowledge may be a dangerous thing, and that knowledge not applied in the daily life easily becomes sin.

As to the individuality from the sojourns in the realm of consciousness outside of the material we find one with the ability to write and one with the ability of a legal mind, or judgments, or the drawing of parallels, and the abilities to write would be very well to use; in giving the histories of a movement, organization, a particular place or a particular type of individual, or the types of books or of articles which might be written by the entity.

As to the appearances of the entity in the earth, these have been quite varied. While all are not given, these may show the pattern of the entity and as to how it may apply its abilities in the present to the greater unfoldment and understanding of self, to understand others.

Know thyself and know thy body, thy mind, thy soul are as the three dimensions in which ye find thyself. They are represented in the same concept of the Godhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Then, in the analysis of these and of self: Know that each has its limitations and yet they’re all one; even as the Father and Son and Holy Spirit are one, as the body, the mind, the soul are one. We see the body with those attributes. We can conceive of what the mind is, or see it in action, but never find the mind, in the body. The soul, one hopes one has it, and yet from the mind, or the individuality of a soul, expressions are given; and thus we understand soul-mate, soul-love, soul-experience. For these find companionship one with another. These would be well to analyze, to write about. They will give you experience. But know that all which comes to the entity is from the Creative Force, or God, that ye make manifest His love in the earth. That is thy purpose in the earth.

Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity during the early settlings in the land. The entity then first was the storekeeper, one of those who made for the general place of exchange, for the needs of the groups of individuals, and thus gradually, as there were the applications of self the entity became the teacher, as may be the experiences in the present.

And yet it must supply the needs, not merely of the mental man, but also to the mental and spiritual man.

The name then was Clint Matthews. The entity gained through the experience, but don’t let purely commercial ideals draw that from the abilities in the mental as may be indicated.

Before that the entity was in the activities in what is now Alexandria, Egypt, when there were those rebellions which arose between the peoples who were followers after Islam, when the destruction of the libraries brought great distress to the entity.

The entity may, through the present experience, desire within self much of the wisdom which was lost through the destruction of the manuscripts in that particular period, and these are the fears which arise in the entity from the marble mobbed rule. Thus ever the lawyer, or justice principle, is a part of the consciousness. In the name then of Isadoran.

Before that we find the entity was in the Yucatan land when there were those activities from the Atlantean land, when individuals came into that portion to set up or establish new regimes from the lessons gained in the Atlantean land. The entity was with the natives, in the name Kuzan.

In the experience the entity gained, and thus in those things from other lands, other peoples, other groups may the entity still find lessons for self, the unfoldment of things to be given to more peoples.

Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those preparations being made through their activities in the Temple Beautiful. The entity was among those who were training for the purposes of making contributions to the knowledge of the young, or the teacher of that particular period.

First find self and its relationships to the Creative Forces. Then in and through those channels which have been indicated, give to others the message which will be a helpful influence to the world, making the world a better place because of ye having lived in it.

(Q) Where can I find a publisher if writing is my field? (A) This depends upon the type which is chosen, but there are plenty of publishers if ye prepare the correct manuscript. You will find it very well in the Falls City Publishing Company or McClurg (?).

(Q) What power do I possess that will help me in constructive endeavor? (A) Read that which has been indicated. The power is latent within self, because ye are conscious of these relationships. If ye understand it, or understood it, you would get it more with the divine.

(Q) How long should I remain in my work? (A) For the duration of the present differences.

Your work has been important, and it proves an assertion I have always made: that history incorrectly records. The truly great are not the generals, statesmen and leaders of commerce and industry, but the men who silently aid their fellowmen by serving their God. I, too, had a fervent desire to enter the ministry, but through lack of will power or karma, I did not reach my goal. I studied law which I never followed. I worked for railroads, insurance companies, as an investigator, and did some newspaper work. Today, I am teaching school at a boys’ school, but I have not found myself, and I am not satisfied. I feel I am not doing the work that is necessary. I have reached an impasse, and feel that I am a failure; yet I go on feeling that there is something I must do. B4. 1/20/44 Letter: ”…Since writing to you last year, I have taught school at a boys’ school, and have helped an insurance organization at … for 3 months… Two weeks ago, I made a trip to …, Arizona, seeking employment with insurance companies, but up to this time nothing materially has developed. I am still confused and want to go and desire to get into something where my work will do the most good… (1) Shall I try my hand at writing; if so, what type of writing? (2) Would it be well for me to take up some type of reporting, say court reporting? (3) Shall I continue working toward a better post-war world with some organization? (4) Is there some type of business that I am best suited for, and would you advise entering business? I was very successful while at …, Ill., and made a record for the number of cases settled, but I do not like the work due to the methods used. I do not hesitate to confide in you and inform you that as far as standards go, I have been a failure. My ideas have been high and in the past few months, I have seriously thought of abandoning my ideals so that I may be able to conform to a pattern. However, I still have faith and cannot run away.
