This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of June, 1944, in accordance with request made by his daughter - Mrs. […], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, would be much preferable for the body to be in accord. We have the body, [5283], and those conditions which exist in the physical consciousness of the body, and those activities which have brought about much of the results or effects in this body.

3. This body is meeting its own self. For it is meeting its own shortcomings, when judged from some moral standards.

4. This body, then, must first in its mental and spiritual attitude, make amends, not merely promises to others but to self and the sources of health and of life itself.

5. These should be the beginnings and the body not merely being dependent upon the applications which must be, or may be, made by others; for there are within self the conditions here taken which now bring undesirable results in the ability of the body to function in the manner either physically or mentally as is most desirable.

6. But there would be first a change in mental and spiritual attitude and then the use of the Wet Cell Appliance which would carry gold into the body vibratorially. This is the plain Wet Cell Appliance, and the application would be the small copper plate attached to the lower portion of the 9th dorsal plexus; the larger plate, through which the solution would pass, would be attached to the umbilical and lacteal duct center, which on this body would be the width of two fingers from the navel center directly to the right and three fingers up from that point. This use, and keep the plates very clean, and prepare to be used at least twenty minutes before it is attached to the body; all parts connected and keep separate and the connections put in the solutions. Then apply for thirty minutes to the body, after twenty minutes of charge.

7. Follow same with a thorough massage along the spine with Peanut Oil, all the body will absorb.

8. This, to be sure, will prevent the greater accumulations or segregations through the system.

9. But the greater help must come from change in attitude towards Creative Forces first, and as in its application to conditions and environs about the body.

10. We are through with this reading.

R1. 2/25/81 Mr. [5283]‘s other daughter sent a message to GD for the E.C.F. archives, via Dr. Charles Thomas Cayce at an A.R.E. talk in her city, saying that her father’s serious disease was diagnosed by Edgar Cayce correctly toward the end of his life; that it was amazing how accurate the reading was.

R2. 3/19/81 GD wrote the daughter asking for further details about her father’s case.
