1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. These, as we find, are very aggravating conditions, for the disturbances arise from the breaking of the activities between the sensory system, its circulation, its lymph activity and the organs of the central nervous system and eliminating system.

3. Thus the conditions which exist in the eyes and more in the portions as the lids than the optic itself; producing redness, constant itching as well as a general nervous condition throughout the body.

4. These will require a great deal of patience, a great deal of persistence and care as to diet, as well as the applications which may be administered for beneficial conditions for the body.

5. First, in the diet, do not take sweets of any character. Do not take carbonated water of any character.

6. Do set up better eliminations by having regular periods when small quantities of Eno Salts, a mineral laxative, would be taken; a teaspoonful every morning for five mornings. Leave off for at least two weeks, and then take for five days again and so on.

7. Do have the low Wet Cell electrical vibrations which would carry to the body both iodine and gold. These should be prepared with the iodine charged in such an Appliance. This should carry the solutions for making the static electrical forces. Use two pounds of the Copper Sulfate and other ingredients in proportion, in a gallon and a half of distilled or rain water. No charcoal in this. Do, when these have been prepared, suspend the iodine in a glass bottle, preferably with a glass cork, charge, and not higher than the low amperage, for at least half an hour.

8. Then use the Chloride of Gold Solution, one grain to one ounce of distilled water, using three ounces.

9. The larger plate should be attached to the body at the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus, which for this body would be four fingers from the navel center directly to the right, and two fingers up from that point. The smaller plate would be attached at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal center, or the brachial center, from which the nerves of the optics obtain their impulses from the central nervous or cerebrospinal nervous system.

10. Use this each day for at least thirty minutes. Do keep the plates very clean. Do disconnect when not in use. Use for thirty days, then recharge the Appliance, using the same quantity and the same container, with the same solution of the Tincture of Iodine. Change the Gold Solution to a new solution, using at least three ounces.

11. Do have a massage after the use of the Appliance. Commence at the base of the brain, around the ears, along the mastoid areas, the nerves of the throat, the larger nerve and blood supply areas, on either side of the head, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal. Massage this gently but thoroughly and away from the head at each treatment.

12. Do these and then each and every other evening, have scraped Irish potato, old, not new, and apply on gauze over the eyes. Keep this on for at least one hour, then cleanse the eye with any good antiseptic solution, using cotton tuft for same.

13. Thus we will bring bettered conditions, we will relieve these general tensions.

15. (Q) What causes distressing dizziness for two years? (A) The incoordination between cerebrospinal and sympathetic impulses through the body.

16. (Q) What causes black specks on teeth at gum line, which increase rapidly in size and have to be ground out and filled? (A) These are from the lack of elements in the system which work from and to the glands which produced the calcium which supplies circulation in teeth. The iodine and Gold will supply elements through the manner indicated, taken in the assimilated foods to assist in supplying elements in these areas.

17. (Q) Is the work I am doing detrimental to my health and is that the reason for my unhappiness with it? (A) This has been the source. For the first of these disturbances came from such fumes which were inhaled which were part of eye disturbance. But the unbalanced condition in system allowed the head to be susceptible to same. We would remain in these activities until improved and then to more of office or secretarial work.

R2. 2/6/45 [5301]‘s letter: “I do believe the Wet Cell Appliance saved me from a complete breakdown, as I was in a truly dreadful condition when starting it. But occasionally I backslide and have a bad dizzy and vomiting spell. My work does not agree with me, yet I cannot work elsewhere while my eyes are so badly inflamed and look so awful. Quite a spot to be in! A long rest would cure them, but that, too, is impossible.”

R3. 3/7/45 “You may one day find a person with occult powers, but never one with EC’s love for humanity and his integrity.”

R4. 8/10/49 GD requested report.

R5. 8/19/49 [5301] answered as follows: “I believe EC’s diagnosis to be the correct one, that my eye trouble first started by the inhalation of fumes… While I am improved, I still have trouble with my eyes, and probably always will have. Still have nerve tension, but not the desperate condition I was in then. The treatments recommended by EC helped.”

R6. 11/19/73 Letter from Bette Nelson, R.N.: “I was reading Health Hints sent to me by the Cooperating Nurses Unit. The article on Irish Potato poultice was especially intriguing, as my mother, who was 1/2 Irish, raised five children on a farm and used no other treatment for anything except Irish potato poultices. We were never sick, and I never met a doctor till I was 19 years old.

“Last year my friend’s new born baby contacted Staph in the nursery, along with several others. I kiddingly told her to use the Potato Poultice. It cleared it up in 3 days. The infection was a severe one and not responding to any other medicine. Another girl friend used it on conjunctivitis and it cleared up beautifully.”

B1. 11/15/43 [5301]‘s letter: “My eyes are deeply inflamed, especially the left one, and have been in this condition for years, and no one can tell me the cause or what to do for it, although I have been the rounds of specialists and all kinds of remedies have been tried. It is a deep-seated conjunctivitis, and will not be cured. My eyes look awful. Sometimes I get so low that I even think of ending it all. But I can’t do that either, for I am a Christian… Only God can help me now, and as you are His instrument, I feel that you will know through your visions while sleeping. The Bible tells us that in the latter days, some will have the gift of dreams and visions, and of healing.”
