This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of June, 1944, in accordance with request by father, Mr. […], new Active Member of the Ass”n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. David E. Kahn.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body now called [5310].

3. As we find, there is lack of normal development in the mental and the physical forces of the body, lack of true coordination between the cerebro-spinal and sympathetic nervous systems.

4. These find expression in the inability of the body to handle itself in a normal manner for its development. There are those conditions in the centers where sympathetic and cerebro-spinal system function the nearer to normal, or in the greater manner for coordination of impulses, coordination for brain reflexes and for normal functionings; 9th dorsal, the greater disturbance, brachial center areas from which the flexes to the brain centers from and through the sympathetic and the organs of the sensory system fail to respond normally; in the lumbar axis the control of the reflexes to the locomotories of the body.

5. These are partially, as we find, in the areas from the conditions existent through the period of gestation and then the soul-entity’s meeting itself, or karmic conditions for the entity, as well as those responsible for same.

6. Help can be had. As to the normalcy being produced, it will depend upon the sincerity in which these suggestions are followed which may be made by those responsible for the entity in the material manifestation.

7. Thus, we would prepare this first: the low Wet Cell Appliance, regular strength, but made to carry the vibrations for at least three solutions to the body.

8. The larger plate will be attached to the one center each time, umbilical and lacteal duct center, which on this body will be the width of two fingers of the mother from the navel center to the right and two fingers up from that point; attach here for each of the solutions to be used; one used one day, one used the next day. These should be different plates for each solution, and between times these are to be taken from the solutions; the plates as well as the connections through which solution passes, to be kept very clean.

9. Use the first day chloride of gold Sodium, three ounces of the solution in the proportions of one grain to one ounce of distilled water.

10. The smaller plate when carrying the Gold is to be attached to the 9th dorsal center, thirty minutes for this solution.

11. Then the next day for thirty minutes, attach at the brachial center, or the 2nd and 3rd dorsal center, this for the nitrate of Silver solution, one ounce of 10% solution of Nitrate of Silver, then add equal parts of water and alcohol to make three ounces of this solution. This at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal center.

12. The Camphor solution the next day, commercial strength, the smaller plate at the lumbar axis for thirty minutes.

13. After each of the applications, whichever solution is used, do massage the spine from the base of the brain to the 9th dorsal with cocoa butter. Massage from the base of the end of the spine upward to the 9th dorsal. This is not to be hurried through, but massage all the body will absorb along the spinal area and the sympathetic nerve ends along the spine also.

14. Keep a normal diet.

15. Keep in the open as much as practical.

16. And each day let the mother, with the father, make those suggestions together, with the body or over the body, as it were; each of them with the hand upon the body as it would sleep, make those prayers, those intercessions as this, in their own words:

17. FATHER, GOD! IN THY LOVE, IN THY MERCY, BE THOU NEAR UNTO US IN THIS HOUR! HEAL THOU OUR HEARTS, OUR MINDS AND THE BODY OF THIS, THY MAID SERVANT. THY WILL, O GOD, BE DONE IN EACH OF US! THROUGH THY PROMISES WE ASK AND SEEK THIS HELP.

18. This is not to be hurried through with but to be lived day by day.
