GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here: this is in the developing stages.
-
As we find, there were those injuries at birth to the body in the lower portion of the spine and in the segments in the cervical area, and thus those tendencies for the inability of the use of certain muscles or nerves which control locomotory, as well as the auditory nerves and the nerves of the eyes.
-
As we find, if there will be systematic periods of correcting the conditions in the segments along the spine, from the 1st cervical to the end of the spine, these should be kept in alignment. These would be best by series of at least having every month three to five treatments. But these should be regular and be systematic and if these are done by a sympathetic person such as Waters, or even Smith here in Baltimore or Waters in Washington [Lulu Irene Waters Hare, D.O., or Emil Smith, D.O.], we would find the body gradually developing into a normal, lovely body.
-
There are strong inclinations for a body who will be systematic and be in a good brain development as to figures. Home should be the whole activity; of the body and these should be training as to music and the like. Do that.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Will it be necessary for her to wear glasses for her entire life? (A) This depends upon the response and how systematically the corrections are made.
-
(Q) Is it best for her to live with her father during childhood and adolescence? (A) Well, the father will be married again and it will be best, provided these conditions are taken into consideration when we ask the girl - she’s sensible!
-
(Q) What can her father do to make her happy? (A) Be happy himself and trust in the source of all happiness and joy.
-
We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 8/11/44 Father’s letter: “I wish to express my thanks and appreciation… It has been my belief all along that there was a slight injury to her spine… Everything was satisfactory with exception to the answer referring to my marrying again, of which I made no reference. Altho I was in a very confused state of mind when I made the request for her reading, not knowing what it was, your answer has cleared up the confusion some.” [His wife, the little girl’s mother, died only a few months before the reading was secured.]
R2. 9/5/44 “Am fully satisfied with the reading and results Dr. […] is finding with my daughter [5362].”
R3. 1/22/48 Report requested by GD from him and from the osteopath: “What was meant in the reading by ‘inability to use certain muscles or nerves which control locomotion, as well as auditory nerves and eye nerves’?
